still locks mate and i'v always just used this and its been fine 0 0 0 { 0:0:1 },no there not using the same ip mate
thanks -
The first number is how many hops away you want the client to have access to, so setting to zero gives cards zero hops away which is no cards.
If it's worked before with zero hops, then there must be something that's setup wrong. -
If you are testing a share on your own network then the dyndns is not used.
So say the ip address of receiver 1 is 192.168.1.66 and receiver 2 is 192.168.1.67.
This is what the f & c line should look like ..
F: user pass 2:0:0 { 0:0:2 } { } { } 192.168.1.67
C: 192.168.1.66 port user pass no { 0:0:2 } -
its not on my net work mate 2 setups 2 router 2 modems, its working fine so what could be setup wrong mate

You put his dns at the end of his FLine on your box, not your dns.

That's why the boxes are locking out - they think they are in the wrong place..

no wait, ok lets try this way i am giving a box with a cline to a mate with my cline and my dyns with no reshare yes ,so i want to lock that cline so he carn't use it in another box,so i put my dyns at the end of his flin in my server,he don't have a dyns hes just viewing my channels.

To lock his line you need to put his ip address at the end of the fline you created for him. -

No that's wrong. You put his DNS. If he hasn't got one, then you can't use the feature! You could always just add his IP as long as it's static.
Think about what's happening. How can putting your own dns on your server stop a cline being used?Basically if a dns is added to the end of an FLine, when a connection is made using that user and pass it checks if it's coming from the ip the dns is for an if it's not it doesnt allow access.

Look at the clients tab in cccam info/cs studio, you will see his ip listed there. -

Using his ip address on the f line will only work if his internet service provider has given him a static ip address.
If you want to lock the c line so he cant use it then you will need to setup a dyndns account for him if he doesnt have a static ip address. -
Just to add, you'll obviously have to wait until he actually uses the box and connects to you to be able to get his IP from the clients tab in csstudio
-
o ok thank i'll leave it there for now lads thanks for your help
