Hi Kiddac. Tried your Q Skin on latest VIX. Crashes on my ZGemma H9S and TWIN when you press EPG button. Weirdly, works fine on my Octagon SF8008. Tried using VIXs install from their Skin extensions and also tried your ipk. Any ideas? Attached the crash log.
Are you using the EPG mods ipk?
I have just installed the skin from the plugin server, it works without a crash when pressing the EPG button on a GB UE 4K.
No not using the mod. Did a clean install. What is weird is the EPG button works initially and then give it a few mins and it will only then crash. As I said, only affects my ZGemma boxes. This is not a new thing as did the same on previous VIX 5.3 images. I did install a few other plugins so will re-test now just to rule anything out.
Works fine for me on ViX 5.4.004 :thumbup:

I was having an issue with crashes while scrolling through the EPG or Channel List in Onyx. After checking the logs (with some significant help from Xpto) it was determined it was picon related.
We inserted a line into the Slyk18Picon.py file to help us identify the specific picon(s) causing the crash. The picon itself seemed fine so we inserted exception handling in the py to avoid the crash. Thought you might want to take a look just in case anyone else ever has a similar issue. The changes were made around line 226.
Surely, the picon is the root cause, but with no obvious problems with the picon, this was a good solution.
Just as info KiddaC when you started to make thoose amazing skin the regular Picon renderer in OE-A was not up to date like yours are.
But today they all work just fine with scaling, transdparency and so on and all Images built on OE-A use the same Picon renderer.
So I think you could just use the standard picon.py in your skin. I did that in the OBH release of your skin
My problem was that OBH did crash with bad picons that was not found in the /tmp/temppicons folder.
Dont remeber but think that there is a picon helper in the Tools folder ;)

I have a couple of questions after setting up OpenATV 6.5
After I installed that EPG button/tab mod (version 3.0) yesterday my VU+ wouldn't boot, I had to wipe everything. I don't know what went wrong...

Enigma2 code evolves and these hacks of mine have to be constantly updated. They have not been updated or checked for a while. I know there is issues with openvix, but openatv one is still working I think. Make sure you install the correct files. (openatv not vix)

Ask openvix if tabs can be added I think that's the only thing missing since they made epg changes. Options for coloured buttons and Ch+/- has already been added
