    If what you are referring to is the set times. i.e the crons like urie has mentioned.

    You go in the essentials plugin and set the auto timers there.




    If you are not talking about cron jobs. I don't know what you are asking.

    Well there was I thinking everyone would know what enable automatic collections was!,, It’s for recording and you can get the system to create folders say corrie in one, loose women in another and so on. So if you record corrie 6 times you just delete the folder and not have to delete 6 times. The only difference in the image was kiddac essentials and thought that may have got rid of the facility to enable automatic collections.


    I’ll update soon to 6.8 and go slow and that may solve the issue.

    This is a function to group recordings together. For example all soaps will be grouped together. This was added to ViX and was ported from Topfield software by Simon Capewell .

Collections are virtual folders, similar to those seen in the Dream EPG
Android app. They automatically group episodes of a programme together
so you don't need to create directories yourself.
The movie list displays and navigates them as if they're directories.
Delete, move and copy on collection acts on all files in the collection
There's also an option to not group if items are already organised in a
same named directory.

    Yes Abu I had read something simmilar about that being asked for on openatv forums but they said it was a dream only thing vitrual folders.


    And only thing as far as I know that is available not on dream is Movie Organisor by grog68 but he has stopped development but it does still work

    but you actuall have to manually make folders for what ever seties or categories you want and once you copy a downloaded episode from series it with then add then add that folder.

    So the option appears in movie planner settings.


    I have to monkey patch (override) some functions so my movie planner mod works.


    In doing so I create a new createsetup function in my plugin for various images. At the time of coding this plugin that was correct.

    I would need to add in a new option for this


    config.movielist.enable_collections = ConfigSelection(default=0, choices=[(0, _("Off")), (1, _("On except in same named directory")), (2, _("On"))])


    I am just off out, so will look into it tomorrow at some point.

    Font sizes I think is the problem as you will see on MetrixHD skin longer file name you cannot see what they are,

    that can be ok because if you look at top of screen full path is listed and you can see full file name.



    But on slyk-1080-r19 for example you cannot see full file names.


    I messed something up on movie planner where the structure is more like default without the mod. It was working as per planner mod screenshots but not sure what I've done. If got the planner mod enabled. Can someone tell me how to resolve. Attached what it looks like now. OpenAtv 7.6

    you need to press menu then settings then go down to use extended list and go through various options to chose what theme you want

    urie I don't skin file commander. It's one of the big monstrosities that I delete when flashing my box. So it is never on my box.
    Any file editing I do via FTP.

    It will probably just use the standard list parameters that will be defined in skin.xml under parameters section.

    Yes I can understand I normally just use windows file explorer but I tend to use filecommander when installing plugins I copy across to hard drive.

    Not happy. Despite my quad core box, enigma2 doesn't like scrolling lists. it grinds to a halt eventually. It was really cool that scrolling to.

    Still messing around though, and my menus, and setup screens still stick at position 2 and jumps the list rather than move the selection. similar to sky q. (just no smooth scroll anymore)

    And I am not using stepped menus anymore that was remembering the previous menu - that was just an experiment. Something I wanted to do 10 years ago. And nobody knew how then.

    I have the latest openHDF V7.5 #52 installed. When I download the latest skin from the first post and try to install it, the entire OS crashes and restarts in a reboot loop on the first boot of E2. Only manually deleting the skin's folder via PuTTY and telnet and reverting to the default skin resolves the issue.


    Could it be that the latest skin is no longer compatible with the E2 image?


    How do I fix this problem?
