E2Piconizer - Picon Downloader/Creator

It doesn't at the moment. It just builds snp picons.
Slyk epg 7 day has an extra cross reference where it looks up the name in the lamedb file and and gets the sid reference from there. It is quite a bit of code that does that.

As there is only sky uk working now in epiconizer, and these names match sky uk satellite channels on your box, I have no desire to put in srp picon code.
Use a 3rd party picon assigner like e-channelizer if you need to match none satellite sky uk channels.

e-channelizer has gone a bit commercialised now. Some of the better features you have to pay for now where originally they were free. Greed always wins in the end.
But its only a small price to pay if you find its features useful. I stopped using it once it became a paid product. Which is a shame, because it was useful.

Picons differ on different images.
This plugin is primarily for oe-alliance images, like openatv, openvix, openpli etc.
There was only ever an .ipk for that reason.

It probably wont work on dreamboxes and definitely wont work on VTI.

I can create you a deb file if you want, but I have zero confidence it will work on dreamboxes

ps, just noticed I put them in a "picons" folder. The folder on your box is "picon" (Now corrected the attachment)

If anyone ever wants these 28.2e picons without installing this plugin. just shout. They are just scraped from sky tv guide.
The program literally takes about 30 seconds to run. I zip them up and post them. Simples.

The plugins only advantage is you can completely change the style of your picons or just download the ones you missing after a broadcast update.

But default, transparent picons are perfectly fine for most people.

We also have this picon request thread run by oktus for any missing picons. If you weren't aware. But do search that thread before requesting.

I have decided to rewrite my epiconizer plugin to include more picons other than just sky 28.2e from sky uk tv guide.

To do this I have to use a global tv source api. By fair means or foul. *cough*

At the same time Lululla has been busy updating a repo to keep the original work of Chochoulsek alive.
So my plan is to also reference these github files at some point. As there is a huge source of picons in there.
Referencing github files directly is a little bit tricky. But I think I found a way to do it.

So phase 1.
Rewrite the Sky UK bit
Separate downloader.
Separate picon designer.

Phase 2
Incorporate global TV API sources.

Phase 3
Incorporate github sources.

I have already been doing a little bit of work on this, this week. And got a few screens put together already.
So watch this space. This is my next project I am currently working on in the background.

Added in a few missing picons for itv channels and sky movies sd channels
Amended the download logic to prevent a freeze
