New virtual keyboard Plugin with windows layout

Naturally, I attempted to install it via TELENET.

opkg install wget

will update your wget and should then work

It worked about two months ago.

What is the reason for this?

well for me it worked yesterday when i did new installation. running it from myrestore.sh

Two months ago, I installed VirtualKeyBoard with this command without any problems. Now, after installing VTi15.0.04, the installation attempt ends with an error message.

It would be much better if the .ipk installation file were available here.

so absolutly nothing changed in newvirtualkeyboard but you have changed OS

It's still a bit annoying that an OS update crashes the installation of a plugin.

did you look at screenshot there was error in script pasted in also he did not say if he updated wget as advised . And also wget can't execute openssl

so it could be image problem.

No, I just assumed he executed exactly the same command as with the previous version .

This command worked. New Virtual Keyboard was installed.

Despite installation, switching to NewVirtualKeyBoard settings causes a crash when restarting the SAT receiver. The SAT receiver resets all skins and defaults to the standard skin that appears in the VTi15.0.04 installation. In short, it does not work as it did two months ago. The NewVirtualKeyBoard installation command works, but causes side effects after installing this keyboard.

Do you have bluetooth mouse and it does not work with virtual keyboard but does on other things. does it work with system default virtual keyboard.

Same as everyone else use terminal on openwebif or putty

This install script for SubsSupport plugin to make compatible with NewVirtualKeyBoard

still the same error.

Ok found way around it for myrestore.sh . If I install NewVirtualKeyBoard from script first then SubsSupport plugin from script there is no error

but obviously SubsSupport plugin not uninstallable from plugins because not installed via ipk

I can also install via ipk in myrestore.sh if i run

opkg install /media/hdd/images/ipk/later/enigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport_1.8.0-r6-py3_all.ipk

but when openatv saves settings it adds enigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport to installed plugins and installs one from feed first then updates when myrestore.sh runs with nigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport_1.8.0-r6-py3_all.ipk version :)

So will just forget ipk for the moment.
