Doesn't this plugin work on openpli 8.0?
Or do i need to install pure2? Or need to use an older version?

No HDD attached, must the config files be on /HDD or /USB or can i simply change this in the settings to an internal folder?

You can. Start the plugin then press "Menu" button > Save directory config: to anything you want.

When i put my udp.ovpn files on this folder /media/hdd/openvpn/ then i go to VPN manager i can see. But if i restart the device, then go again to plugin vpn manager i cant see my ovpn. files. This is normal?

is the hard drive mounted and have you selected ,all configs in one folder.

But I've given up and I bought a new receiver (gigablue uhd trio 4k)... It's time to give Alien Triple a rest because it was too slow and crashing a lot with these new images..
I think that with that new receiver I will have no problems with this plugin.. let's see if I can make it!

Well... New receiver (gigablue Trio) with OpenATV 6.4... all up to date... and I have this warning:
Extensions/VpnManager (No module named future)
where do I get that future module?

I have the same problem as 'strutch' but neither of those dependencies will install for me on a DM8000HD running openpli-enigma2-8.0star-dm8000_Japhar_v6_GStreamer_1.18.3_20210227. I have tried bot version 1.16, 1.14 and 1.13

Which version of openpli are you using, which version of vpnmanager. On vusolose openpli 6.2 vpnmanager does not satrt, when I try to start it from pluginmenu, then the the reciver does not respond so that I have to rebbot it from power button.

I have one thing to ask that I think is very important for safety. If the connection to the vpn server drops, does VPNManager block all internet traffic or continue working without the security of the VPN? And if it continues without VPN, how can this be remedied? Thank you
