  • I have the bouquets and I know how to link.

What I miss is the source. Jedi has only Rytec and EPGshare and some other that have no use for me.

Well nothing is perfect try and search your self for epg source and add in into jedi epglist.txt file there is even bevy-epg.txt file with other sources in there

  • Hi all, I have a new box and want to have the same channels epg import as the pld box.Copied all epg files to new box but does not see the choosen channels as on old box.Any idea wich file I need to copy to have the same channels import on new box because otherwise I need to do lots of channels again.Tx in advace.

PS: copied all jedi directorys to new box already and rebooted

  • HI Great Plugin! Finally EPG on my IPTV channels on Vu Duo 4K wit Openpli.

One question: is it posible to do the settings which you do normally on the Tv in Vu Duo 4K on a windows laptop?

    Like Dreamset for making bouquets?

Its al lot of work to do it on TV. If i can do the settings on labtop its a lot faster.

  • I think the problem is when the channels from EPG sources have ID in numbers and not the name of the channel. Unfortunately, then it's impossible to know which channel needs the correct link. I don't think there's a solution to this problem, or is there?

Sorry but you do not seem to understand for epg yes every channel needs epg_id example BBCOne.uk would be BBC One channel name .

So at the end of the day you need to play channel to see what one it is then assign epg_id via jedi epg xtream.

But jedi epg xtream will try to match channel name from bouquet and assign what it thinks is correct epg_id but if channal name is wrong then as I mentioned you can select channel in jedi epg xtream but than manually select the correct channel it is from availabe ones there.

No one can help if provider has wrong channels names or perhaps correct channel name but wrong epg_id.

Other that that then you need to use an editor I use iptveditor to rename channels and epg_id and I need to do because of some cheaper providers thousands of channels every country not needed. KiddaC other plugin BMX can help so you can select categories you only want, that can help you only need to try and assing the ones needed but if channels are wrong name then that can still be a problem.

  • This isn't about incorrect channel names or incorrect epg_IDs. Some EPG sources use their own numerical channel identifier, e.g., "2235" and not the channel name. The best way to assign channels is with an editor, as you mentioned. Alternatively, as I envision it, you can take some notes on which epg_ID belongs to which channel, so you can quickly find the correct mapping on the receiver using EPGXtream.

  • No i'm afraid you maybe incorect even some iptv providers come with there own epg_Id's in playlists and are none standard and some may even use Use tvg-ID.

Even from epg ripper uk epg_id's seem standard.

    4seven.uk

    5ACTION.uk

    5SELECT.uk

    5STAR+1.uk

usa channels are different not standard

    Cinemax.HD.(Pacific).us2

    Cinemax.HD.us2

    Cinemax.Hits.us2

    Cinemax.(Pacific).us2

    normal epg_id's would be

    cinemax.us

    cinemaxwest.us

    cinemaxhits.us

Every epg source can be different hence you just cannot load epg source and expect it to pickup epg as id's are different.

But hopefully KiddaC can explain :)
