point is it has never been available even for h9 series well over a year

And as I explained recently, since I have been told: Droid is not coming for H9 series, first edition!

It will come for H9 Twin/Combo SE (Second Edition) with 16GB flash and faster DDR4 RAM...

Also H10 series. And neither are available yet...;)

I don't want to hijack the thread but I'm struggling to find a quick answer to something; what's the advantage of dual boot, i.e. what's the android part for?

Is it to run apps like TV streaming etc or is there more to it?

I'm looking to get another box for the bedroom and notice these dual boot boxes are popular with a lot of people.

Thanks to gorski too for the zgemma information; at the minute I'm looking at getting a zgemma but wanted to check the android advantages.

Android on the face of it looks like a extra option and so a unique selling point but the android system supplied by manufacturers is more a fancy addon with little use and minimal support from manufacturer in my view
