    Let's test the grab manual. From telnet/dcc/putty run this command and let me now if you get any errors?

    Also in your tmp folder an jpg file has been created check that image

    I am getting Processing Failed on my DM two UHD on the openwebif.


    I did some more investgation the error came from /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpeenWebif/controllers/base.py line 361.


    For now I commented the line and it started working:

    As far as I can tell it is only needed if shellinaboxd is used/installed in the OWF. This looks like a bug in the package to me. Hope this helps others.

    First install the new improved OpenWebif 1.4.9a

    Then select the addon matching your Dreambox and you will have the web based Terminal/Telnet

    This is the point. I just wanted the OpenWebif not the terminal on it (needed the API for smart home integration).OpenWebif 1.4.9a should work regardless if the shellinaboxd is installed or not. Currently it only works with shellinaboxd installed.

    I have a new update comming up fixing this issue with some DreamOS images when shell in a box is not installed :)

    Well then I am back and have fixed the issue reported about the Shell In A Box.

    But another more complicated issue have emerged. Gutemine have added OpenWebif to his list of Plugins not allowed when you use any of his.

    So you can just fine install the upgrade to fix all problems. But if you install Gutemines Feeds plugin the OpenWebif is deleted.


    At the moment this is no big deal for OE 2.5 users since he already has removed almost all support for those boxes.

    But if you use a Dreambox One or Two then poof OW is gone as soon as you install hes feeds plugin.


    So I am not sure how much work i will put into this at the moment.

    But here is the upgrade package for those who are aware that your OW is gone if you install gutemines feeds plugin.

    Nope he does all removing with cmd. And if it can't be removed then he kills his own plugin and locking your Image

    so you can never install his feeds plugin again ;)


    Only work around if this happen is to flash a new image and not restore any settings. Then you can install his feeds plugin again.
