I'm new to this larger / direct c band satellite stuff, used to be involved back in the smartcard glitch days with Dick/Dave equipment which seemed much simpler.
I'm in the central USA states, most of the other posts and content I've found is very EU / Asia focused.
Trying to read and understand before posting questions, but kind of confused on a couple parts. Hoping I can get some more "local" help.
My objective is to get a similar channel line-up to a cable/satellite subscription service with a small fixed dish.
Do softcam/oscam keys exist for Ku Band Dick/Dave satellites? Where I could use a smaller 18-36 inch dish to point to their satellite and use a Linux receiver/ engima2, etc set up?
I'm trying to avoid a larger 8+ft dish route which is a little more challenge with HOA and over my budget?
Any other suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.
