  • Hi guys. Any chance for a biss key?
    117W 4017H Concert Channel.

It was biss then changed to 'sky pilot' for a few weeks. Now back to biss.
    Thx!

    It is Cryptoguard encrypted !

It would seem so from the charts. But.
Look at the program numbers for two channels on the tp:

And then look at two other channels on the same tp:

Might need some advice here. But the one I'm interested in had a CAID of 4AEA last week.
And now this week it returned to CAID: 2600. Which is BISS.

Next is. What would be needed to find the key?
I've tried several versions of CW-Finder that worked for a few other sats. But no luck with this one.

    Thoughts? Any??

  • Initially the ch left on biss were fta. maybe for the completion of the implementing the new encryption type.

few day ago, my tnap shows " Cryptoguard encrypted" , for witch there is no fix that i'm aware off.

    LyngSat still show them being in biss. I guess this is part of the work in progress in implementing the new encryption;

1 day they are biss, next day they are something else !

  • Demuxer 0 ecmpid 1 CAID: 2600 ECM_PID: 1FFF PROVID: 000000 (fake ecm pid)

Turn off the creation of Fake ECM in Emu

  • Thanks Eno. But what exactly does it mean? And is there a work around?

  • So what in the hell is going on here? Same transopnder on the same sat. Showing 0E00 : 000000.
All channels are pv. Logged ECM and ran through pvhe with a channel that did not clear.
Only 2 channels clear. Log lines with date and timestamp trimmed, channel names changed.
    105W 4100 H

    Result:

    P 0000 00 EFEE5EB4F3DED3 ; ECM Key0 [Valid, para105.txt]

    P 005185F3 00 1B730B729AE87A ; EMM Key [Valid, para105.txt]

    Channel That Clears:

    And One That Doesn't:

  • Must be be in your conf or emu version. Nothing has changed on 4100H 105w. All clearing Here.

The ecm keys you have are what I have.

  • I dunno lme. Tha file is name is longer than the Mississippi.
Tried decompressing it. Got it down one level then forget about it.
Actually am on 6.7 and surprised it came with oscam depenencies included.

Right now I'm only decoding partial tp channels. Same hash for all. So something is screwy.

After a bit all channels came in as before. Which is a bit confusing. I did use an older oscam conf folder from an older install and ver. 11846-802 binary.
Since I do not need all of the readers in oscam.server. Only emulator and mohamed for pv, biss, and afn updates and constant.cw are in it.
And I'm not even really sure if I need constant.cw reader.
I'm afraid I'll never quite understand all of the lines in the files with numerics. Like ident, emu-auproviders, disablecrccws_only_for.
And believe you me I have read al of the Streamboard and git articles. I wish I did.
Something like a tutorial with examples and what happens if you do this, do that.

Th 'mechanism' that after a bit suddenly cleared the channels after a few is pop in on the same transponder is fuzzy.
A new key wasn't written at the bottom of the keys file. Yet. The next time I switched channels and came back to it. It cleared.
I mean. It's working now. It was, then it wasn't, then it did again.

Not to much info but read this:

    OSCam Emu configuration

    ...and here:

    PowerVU config

I only have 4 simple files in config folder:

    oscam.config

    oscam.server

    oscam.user

    SoftCam.Key (observe the spelling)

They are written as per instructions in "Basic config" menu.

Try to keep first 3 files simple and short.

As for the oscam files I always just unzip it and rename it "oscam-emu"; I don't need to see the long name in the folder.

  • Hey Eno. Those links are 404. But I believe I've read them before. I think I'd like to move this over to the USA Forum and try to cover a few things if you're willing to. It might be good for all of us.
