  • I want to say a collective thanks to TC, ENOSAT, and supwiddiss. You guys have given me a wealth of information to study and digest. Thanks to each of you, I really appreciate your help and will can't wait until I know enough to be able to assist you too! This is a challenging endeavor that I am really enjoying working at. It is also a good reason to have a few drinks! :smiling face with sunglasses: :smiling face: :winking face:

  • If you feel like it, you can add/edit channel hash for individual transponders (frequencies according to Lyngsat)

    SoftCam.Key.txt

Nice list. Maybe some there I can use. Thanks!
Is there an explanation for the F's in biss and pv ECM, EMM's?
As far as oscam.dvbapi is concerned. I would have to learn a hell of a lot more of the inner workings and purpose of it before deleting anything.
Although the satellites anything East of 34W (my most Eastern receivable sat.) makes sense to get rid of.
There is a lot to learn. And i'd really like to. Oscam.cache is one. It populates with more lines frequently. Why? Is it really needed? And what if I trim or delete lines within it?

  • Please. Do not for one second think that I do not appreciate greatly your comments and suggestions.
I have been parked on 58W with the single transponder key file. And true to your hints. No UA added yet.
These usually occur Sunday night or Monday morning for a few hours.
I trust your experience. And Sunday evening I will steer my dish to 58W and use the key file to see what happens.
I am believing what you say is true. Using the UA and ECM may not work for a newly added by line. But. Let's see what happens.

Boy what an evening I had yesterday! I want to give you an update on what I have done to get this working. Thanks to each of you, again.

I tried the configuration files provided, no change. I deleted all my configuration files and reloaded them. No change. I reinstalled OSCAM and all configuration files and still it would not work.

I did a factory reset, new everything! Put OSCAM back and the configuration files!

    Everything works.....

All I can figure out is that I had an issue with something in the box that only a factory reset took care of.

I do appreciate the information that was provided, and I have learned a lot more about how this magnificent STB's work. Thanks again! :party-time: :party-time:

  • Basic old pvu key finder (slightly updated), it might make finding keys a little easier, but there's not much point in playing with it anymore, maybe it's better to play with it on another continent.

There is no guarantee of 100% success, errors can occur, you may find wrong keys and other possible errors, use it at your own risk!

    • To use it, you need to install dvbsnoop on your device somehow.
    • From the compressed bin.zip file, copy the binary that best suits your device's architecture and give it execute permissions.

Switch your device to one of the pvu channels and try to run a command in terminal or other mode and wait for the result, it may take several minutes.

"Progremmer-ese". Not being a smartass. I know that dvbsnoop "on your device somehow" can be simplified by narrowig down if the receiver is an E2.
Then it becomes as simple as instructing the user to open the webif. Heading over to Packages. Searching for......you guessed it!!! dvbsnoop.

Clicking to install. And it does.

But. Dvbsnoop is installed. Now what? The tee-shirt says "it won't lick itself" on the biker chick. And dvbsnoop is installed. That's all. Doing nada, zip, zilch, zingo. Come on. You can do better than that.

Hey! I downloaded the compressed attachment. I have an Arm7. I extracted it. There's my arm7 binary.

Copy it? You mean move it or copy it to a directory. Where? How about /tmp? Nope, its there and next boot. Adios muchacho.
How about /home? Then give it a 755?

    Huh? You mean open a terminal and try ./beer ? ./calzone ?

What stinkin' command? There is not much to be learned form short comment replies if the person cannot expand on the specific usage with examples.

  • Found these on another site. I'm barely hitting 34w through some trees so I can't really watch, but can confirm this works for autorolling AFN...

  • And is this powervu+ or something else? I get little bits of audio and a black screen...34.5 MTN/Anuvu mux:
