We know that, but the update from the sites on the web are slow (1 or more hr late) to be updated.

not to mention that only 1 site "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/JetCamFastCam/JetFastCamRza/main/SoftCam.Key" is being up to date, but late. the other 3 sites provided, are stuck with very old ecm keys.

Hi fairbird, in my DM920 woks NCam good I use the same NCam file from the DM920, but not working in the VU Ultimo, i have a friend and he say have also no picture from the VU Ultimo whit ncam, i install manually Ncam. the files are the same as in to the dreambox 920 ( satpong openpli image)

I will try to answer lordgothic and lme questions using translate.google.

The best and fastest way to update keys is with keys extracted from emm.

But in afn's current case it doesn't work.

Currently, AFN ECM keys are available on various websites and the keys change every few hours...

There are many ways, it's up to you where to get and how to add these keys.

For cam that use the oscam-emu sources, the keys of the SoftCam.Key files are in a common KeyData, regardless of the number of readers or the number of SoftCam.Key files.

NCam follows the rules of SoftCam.Key files, so it handles SoftCam.Key files the same as oscam-emu, only NCam can add SoftCam.Key files from the network

If you use more than one emu reader or more than one SoftCam.Key file, when reading the next SoftCam.Key file, if it finds keys with the same ID, the key will be overwritten.

So, that's why you either use a reader and a SoftCam.Key file, and the keys are the same, no surprises...

Or if you're trying multiple readers and multiple SoftCam.Keys, you might want to put the reader with the best SoftCam.Key file at the bottom of the list so that it's the last emu reader read.

For oscam-emu, remote SoftCam.Key files or keys can be added, but this must be controlled manually or with an external script.

But if you want to control it manually or with an external script, you can do the same for other cam.

However, NCam can be built with curl support, so requiring external scripts is not as important,

and if device = http... then the SoftCam.Key file is downloaded when NCam is started or when the reader is restarted,

if the label = github:... they are loaded only if you turn on one of the afn channels, and these keys are already stored as separate data, they do not affect the keys of SoftCam.Key.

If you're looking for the SoftCam.Key file or the web site where the keys are the fastest and freshest, don't expect one person to supervise this 24 hours a day.

(Let's be happy with what we have, because it won't last forever anyway.)

the problem its the very fast that the team update the softcamkey files on their sites/links...

the people post ecm keys on forums more fast that the softcamkey updates...

its possible to made a plugin like biscotto (biss keys) for ecm (pv) because it will be more fast because we can update ecm from the forums...

In Windows it connects to the Web and downloads the SoftCam.Keys file.

What would I look for in live log that tells me we are loading new keys?

I just did a manual restart of ncam after invalid keys and all zeroes for ecm.
Valid keys are in the Internet .keys files and is decoding.
Should it not have restarted itself?
Also. Do you think there will ever be a way to tell what particular key is being used at a given time?

Edit:

After several hours I did not see signs of any new Internet keys being downloaded in the respective sub directories.
And 006D was not clearing. I performed a manual restart and the keys were refreshed, the channel cleared.
Again, from reading the algorithm.
Is ncam not supposed the check for not clearing channels and perform an automatic download, then refresh.
Or restart ncam in an attempt to see if the new files clear the channels, then if not.
Do it again after a delay in time?

What would a phrase be to target when the operation triggered?
And if the operation is not happening. What to look for in configurations?

Since the key is invalid and not found,

rejected group because Loadbalancer is on and disables the reader for setup time...

Redownload keys, (after about 5 minutes)

(And new valid keys arrived and ECM are fine now...)

the problem its that ecm key are posted more fast at forums and more late on teams links/url

the best solution its made a plugin like biscotto for add ecm key manually with remote controll...
