Zgemma H9S Lost all my satellites and channels except for Hotbird 13.0 East ??

Hello All,

I have had my Zgemma Box for nearly a year now and with my Tuner for channels etc I have always used DreamSet version 2.4.13 to set up a Favourites Channels List.

Anyway today I was editing my channels and i am sure i clicked on xml option, anyway box restarted and all I get now is 13 East Hotbird Channels I no longer get any other satellites. I have a Motorised dish with satellites from 30 West to 42 East. I would be most welcome for easiest way to fix this problem without loosing all my settings ??

Which image are you using? It might be possible for you to do it using remote.

I use motorised dish for free italian channels on hotbird and like some of the german channels on 19.2 east and 5 west. I have been using my motorised system for a while but have forgotten how to do things as it has run so well for so long before zgemma i had vu duo. so no no back ups i think lol

also this morning I checked that motor was still getting power from zgemma and it is there is flashing green and red lights on my motor which a Alsat Dark Motor cant remember where i bought that from

You really should back up your images !!

Openpli 7.0 had for ages always thought if it aint broke dont fix it lol

Anyways try this:

unzip the attached satellite.xml file

FTP and overwrite the file at etc - tuxbox

reboot your box and try

Hello jenseneverest I have followed link and transferred from laptop to my zgemma what next lol ?

Well i am glad it fixed your error, yes you can now edit your list like normal

Again i suggest you backup your working image, in case things go wrong again in the future

Sorry buddy you must of mis understood my reply I have used filezilla transfered new satellites.xml file to zgemma before i did i deleted old xml file that was there from last time, then i restarted box no change at all, shows old sats favourites i had from before but when i go to retune 28.2 east for example dish does not move and finds nothing, i need 28.2 east as well as aerial here is rubbish so need freesat channels, what have i done wrong ? do i need to restart or restart enigma ??

It must have been something you did with your channel list, so the only option now is to start again.

This is why i have been asking if you had an image backup, then it would have just been a reflash of the backup and away you go.

best to check your tuner configs for your motor

See if you are able to drive the motor east and west manually and it in fact moves

Try installing a channel list from the plugin download section, see if that helps

Failing that you may have to reflash a clean image and start from fresh.

I had the ladder out first thing this morning but because I saw green and red light flashing i thought all was okay but just got off the ladder and it doesnt move from 13 east hot bird, its a Alsat Dark Motor and has two buttons to move it manually so tried east and west and just get click noise when i try to move manually also have manual and incase of needing to reset it says to hold both buttons down and nothing so im guessing motor is Broken what do you think ?
