im using the m3 version and it did find ccam.cfg on usb drive

Please check the correct name , maybe CCcam.cfg

The filename is correct other than adding CCam.cfg details to the box, is there anything else that is needed so that it will start to use this ccam to clear scrambled channels?

well i added the info manually, but how do i get it to use that info?

usually just a reboot starts it off, make sure details are saved
