DM900UHD4K - Does not Start. - With the Red Led Fixed

Hi, master G.

Without predicting anything, without having changed anything, my Box DM900UHD4K stopped starting. The Command not execute. Switching on and off, only on the Power Button. But, when switching on, it remains stationary, with the Red Led fixed.

I don't have the IP the Box.

I can't connect from my PC, with DCC or FileZilla, because I don't have an IP. And making a search, I find nothing; it's like I've been turned off the Box.

I contacted yassinov, from "OptiFlasher Pro DMips EDition".

He advised me to use the PUTTY, with Serial Line 13 and Speed 115200, connecting the USB Cable to the Service Port of the DM900.

Unsuccessfully. Nothing performs. I have the Windows 10 Pro x64, with Port COM 1.

I don't want to throw my DM900 away without trying everything.

I am a newbie. Without experience.

This my DM900UHD4K, is original. It is not a clone.
This software "JapharFlasher by GoodSat" and "OptiFlasher Pro [DMips EDition]" from yassinov, does not work on this Box.

Yassinov himself advised me to use Putty.
But, I don't have the IP, of this Box.
I also don't have COM 13 port on my Windows 10 Pro x64.

I have the DM900UHD4K connected with the USB cable to the Service Port of the DM900UHD4K.

I have HD + USB Pen + SD Card.
What can I do?

I have the Box connected with Ethernet Cable, directly to the router.

But Box doesn't give me any IP.

I tried to connect with DCC or FileZilla, without success, because I don't have an IP.

This Box, seems to be "dead". Only the Red Led, fixed.

I can't get an IP.

I don't know how to get the IP.

Hi, @ teak-won-do.

I opened the lid of the DM900UHD4K.

I plugged in the power, while lightly keep on pressing the heat sink.

Nothing happened. The Led remains solid red.

The display shows nothing.

Pressing the Red Led, while switching on, the Box does nothing.
It should flash: red / blue. But nothing happens. It stays fixed.

Today I connected the Box again, to make new attempts.

Everything is disconnected.
Only the Ethernet network cable is connected.
The HDD disk + USB stick + SD card, are out.

I tried with "JapharFlasher" and a message appeared saying that there was an IP 192.XXX.XXX.1.24, responding on the Network, but that it is not the DreamBox. DreamUP may not work well.

I am disappointed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
We don't know what else to do.

I'm pressing the Red Led, at the same time that I turn on the power. I've done this in other situations, to install other firmware. Now the Led is fixed, nothing does.

Yes, that is what I meant.
I turn the Box off and after turning it on again, I press the LED.
I don't keep pressing while it's on.
I did this many times that I needed it.
