I have the bootloader for this box, but i have never used it or ever needed to TBH, in ibbnog case it is probably worth a try.
Flashing a bootloader may result in a brick, this is a warning to all that follow
thanks gonna try it

and idea
have you tried a different power supply
we all know most box's suffer from power supply problem's
dreambox is well known
the zgemma H2 was supply and overheating problem having a fan near did the trick
it's worth a go
As said, i personally never used it on the h7.
In most cases you just flash it like a normal image firmware.
On the boxes i have flashed with the bootloader it only takes a few seconds.
Then flash with normal firmware after.
@ibbnog I would still contact supplier and explain to them what is happening that it has never booted since you got it as for the warranty sticker I don't believe they can hold you to that if box is made to take internal hard drive you should be allowed to open it up to install a hard drive. if anything like the h9 combo it even came with cables to connect a hard drive even though I bought mines without hard drive installed and fitted one later.
I woud not try boot flash untill you have a word with supplier.

go and look at your order on amazon
here is example of options
i know this but i also know that i need to pay postage
i know this but i also know that i need to pay postage
I would rather pay postage than be left with a box that does not work if it is faulty you would think they would refund the postage or all your money.
you should still contact them.
the postage is like 1/3 the price of the box but i will try
The retailer is normally responsible for the cost of any returns (as specified in the Consumer Contracts Regulations), but this depends on the terms and conditions of the retailer. However, you are not expected to pay for postage when returning faulty products (as explained above). The retailer must also collect the goods without charge if they have been delivered to your home and cannot reasonably be returned by post.
okay nerds read this
the cost is not just 8 euros so its not free yknow but ill still try
so ive been kinda scammed xD , i tried to see if i can buy the zgemma again on amazon, it was still there. 5 mins later?

Instead of posting all info did you actually contact amazon and let them deal with it , you are going nowhere at the moment the longer you leave it the harder it will be to get sorted out.
This is a very simple basic guide of how to use the Zgemma H9 Combo multiboot recovery menu to Multiboot and flash supported images online.
Note your Zgemma H9 Combo must have a hard wired network connection.
1) Power on the Zgemma H9 Combo, as soon as you power on HOLD DOWN TOP LEFT POWER BUTTON on the remote.
2) Once you're booted into the Multiboot recovery menu screen below select 'Bootmenu' at the bottom and press OK on the remote.
3) On the next screen select 'Flash online image' and press OK on the remote.
4) On the next screen you can select various team images for online flashing. Currently OpenATV 6.2 & 6.3, OpenPLi7.x, OpenViX 5.2 and OpenNFR 6.3. Choose which image you'd like to flash and Press OK on the remote. You will then see a downloading progress screen. For the purpose of this guide we are flashing OpenATV 6.2 to Slot 2, we already have OpenViX 5.2 in slot 1, OpenATV in slot 2 that we are going to re-flash and OpenPLi in Slot 3.
5) Once the image has download you'll see the screen below giving you Four image slots. Remember which slot you are currently booting from and have setup. Flashing to that slot WILL REFLASH that slot, you will loose everything you have setup in that slot. We have setup OpenViX in Slot 1, for this guide we are re-flashing OpenATV 6.2 to Slot 2 and we have OpenPLi already flashed to slot 3. Select Slot 2 and press ok on the remote.
6) Once completed you can select which image you'd like to boot into. OpenATV is in Slot 2, select slot 2 and press ok on the remote.
7) Now if you would like to boot into say OpenViX in slot 1 you do either either use the built in Multiboot system of whatever images you have flashed or press Menu > Standby /Restart > Restart > as soon as TV screen goes blank HOLD DOWN TOP LEFT POWER BUTTON on the remote. Wait for the Multiboot recovery menu, then select which image you'd like to boot into.
Thats it, very simple and no USB sticks required.
esmeralda1 , yes for Zgemma h9 Combo with recovery menu but this is Zgemma h7c no recovery menu .
