    opkg update

    There is a problem between "wget" and the feeds (see the errors). You need to fix that.


    For now, try:


    opkg install --no-install-recommeds /tmp/*.ipk

    Try installing the attached copy of AJPanel.



    The problem you are facing can be related to many issues:

    - Network/DNS problem.

    - Feed/Repo issue

    - opkg and config issue.

    - wget issue.

    - Image issue.

    new 10.1 is working fine thanks for it

    but my problem is still vod not playing live tv play but vod & series not playing

    when i cheek these server on sfvip player on pc vod working fine

    i install open pli open atv 7.4 open atv 7.5 but not working

    how can i play vod

    I've updated AJpanel to version 10.1, and it works fine with the streams in the playlist or portal.

    Only the m3u files give some problems: when I select a m3u file, the box needs about 3-4 minutes to read the file.

    After that I see the categories, but if I select one, again the box needs 3-4 minutes to read the category.

    When I get finally the channel list, it takes about 20-30 sec to change channel.


    The m3u files are taken from this forum, downloaded from thosch1973, called m3u_WORLD1 --> m3u_WORLD12.

    It's the same problem with all the 12 m3u files.

    Changed back to version 10.0, and it's working fine. (about 30 sec to read a 5mb m3u file, channel zap in a sec)


    Do more people have this problem on their box, otherwise I would have to look for the problem in the ATV firmware?

    The new M3U handling should be much faster in the latest update because it caches the data for the next read.


    This is to prevent re-reading big files on every entry to the options.


    Example on Octagon-SF8008:

    Opening a 45MB file with 152888 services took 1 minute and 40 seconds (first rime). This is the process to cache it. Opening the file the next time is done instantly.


    The table also highlights the size in green for the cached M3U files. Make sure it is green after caching.


    I have tried the files you mentiined and on the same image with very fast results.


    Caching is done in your backup directory as set in AJPanel settings by the option "Backup/Restore Path". Try changing the path to a different storage media (a faster one) and see how it goes.

    Будь ласка, допоможіть. Ajpanel-v10.1.0 не відкриває мій файл M3U у браузері файлів M3U/M3U8. На попередніх версіях без проблем - все зрозуміло. Але на цій версії процес запускається і зупиняється.
    Щось змінилося в цій версії?

    Changed the path in AJPanel to: Media/HDD/ajpanel_backup, made on the root of my usb 3.1 stick in the blue usb 3 slot on my box.

    The same stick where the automatic backup (ATV 7.4) also stores his files, and did a full reboot.


    Then tried AJPanel v10.1 with the m3u_WORLD4 (5.4mb) and again it takes about 4 minutes to read the file.

    After reading, there accord a new map in Media/HDD/ajpanel_backup with a m3u_WORLD4.m3u file in it.

    I think that is the stored cache file?

    But when I open the same m3u_WORLD4 file for the second time (green), it's still taking about 4 minutes to read.


    I think there is somewhere a conflict between my GigaBlue box, m3u files and AJPanel v10.1, but for now I stay with v10.0.

    Sorry, I didn't understand exactly what you want to do.


    If you mean that you want to create a bouquet with selected channels from m3u list, open the list you are interested in and press "Options" (yellow).

    Press "Enable Multi-Select" and choose the channels that interest you. Then press "Options" and "Add xx Services to New Bouquet".

    Hello and thank you for your contribution.

    I just noticed this thing on the latest version.

    Latest OATV 7.5 , octagon sf8008.

    I am not 100% sure that's the following may be the case but I'm pretty confident because I noticed it many times.

    I use to always find a working mac portal (It is always the same portal just a different mac btw)

    And then I just open a channel and leave it play until I may need to watch something that can happen in half an hour or a couple of hours.

    The thing that I noticed in the last version is that, If I leave the channel play for a while, without zapping or anything when I go back I usually just see a black screen. The portal is frozen.

    But if I change the channel and go to another one within the same mac portal It starts playing normally.

    I don't remember this happening in the past because I have this kind of behavior for at least a couple of years. But the last period I noticed it happening way too many times like almost always when I leave the channel for a while playing.

    And I think it may be related with the auto refresh.

    Because I even noticed it when I was watching normally a live channel, it went black screen, saying refreshing and never refreshed.

    But again if I zapped up and down the same channel was working without any problems or freezing.

    So maybe there is something with the auto refresh in the latest version.

    Because as I already mentioned I am using the exact same portal that I have been using for almost 2 years without this behavior.


    I'm not 100% sure that it may be an Ajpanel issue, It may be also a portal thing, but just reporting it in case someone else also noticed it.

    The previous versions allow refreshing frozen channels even if they keep freezing within few seconds. And, since refreshing sometimes takes long with some servers (more than 5 seconds), the devices gets in a loop where it keeps refreshing while you notice difficulties with using the device until a successful refresh.



    The latest version was improved to overcome such cases by preventing consecutive refreshes within 10 seconds. So, if the refresh process succeeds, it will not refresh the channel if it freezes within the next 10 seconds (to prevent loops).


    Returning to your TV with a black screen means the frozen channel was refreshed but then froze again within next 10 seconds.


    If AJPanel bar is shown, clicking "Refresh" (green button) will refresh it.


    Try also changing between 4097, 5001, 5002, etc because the combination of the server and a suitable player sometimes help with bad servers.
