Tried to build the backup on the DM500HDv2, with the built-in bin ssl (88), and also the ssl (89), same result, backup is built successfully but once flashed the box doesn't start.
If the backup tool works with the OpenATV, I find strange it doesn't with the OpenPLi... so no clue why the successfull backup fails then to boot the box.

Update image via browser but dont restart the box.
Now send the ssl 89 loader via browser again and now restart the box .
check it .if it works
ok i will try it, send me ssl89 loader what one u are using for refresh after you flash the image back.

yes thats what i saying.... after once flashed the box doesn't start....
but with openatv works perfect, backup making and flashing... and all

how you can send .ipk bootloader via browser to the box?

If you have the secondstage in ipk format, you have to install it with the "opkg install" command, as you would install any software or plugin to the box with command line... but really better to install the one with .nfi, that goes thru the web browser.

yes i know, thats why i have asked Aliraza, because he send me a link to a IPK File, but he said he flashed the Bootloader after he flashed his backup image.
on dm 500 v1 the openpli 8.3 image works good and the full backup script works too, and flashing back the .nfi from full backup works too.
but thats for v1 box.
Problem is only the image for v2 box. but now i using alternative the openatv 7.2 and all works good. thanks to everybody for help
