    I also have the same problems. I wanted to test the latest version.

    HD+ channels, everything ok.

    SkyDE, oscam crashes.

    Use openATV 7.5.1 (with all updates).

    Oscam from Youchie, everything ok, no crashes.

    Can't say now if you're running an older version. I'll test it out over the next few days. But something is wrong with your current version. Even after installation, files are missing from the Config folder.

    I tested something again. The current version works now. I had to unpack the ipk, then manually move the OSCAM.bin file, in my case "OSCam_11887-803-arm-ssl310" (VU Uno4k). The name needs to be changed to "OSCam_11887-803." The config files are located in the "etc" folder. The startup script needs to be taken from the "OpenPli" folder. I have no idea why I have to go that route. At least I'm very happy with the OSCAM from Levi45 and Youchie.

    Not all files from the config folder are transferred. I suspect the error occurs when there is no existing version of Oscam, meaning a freshly flashed version. If someone has already installed another version, such as Youchie, they won't have any problems installing Levi45's version.

    Now this issue solved. I have created new script will available in next oscam update . So it will check on your box all director for any oscam config files find them then will make backup and delete original config files, and installs new config files . Also will check any oscam binary in all directory if finds any oscam binary files will deletes them then install new oscam. And finally will check any directory of your box for oscam script if find any will delete them and installs new one .



    do we have a problem in the installation script, it stopped at search of pervious emu binary...

    An option for you is to name your binary oscam-levi45, and to also put your configuration files in /etc/tuxbox/oscam-levi45


    You then don't have to work around any other config files. You don't even have to back them up. Not do you have to do anything with the existing softcam. And should the user install another version, it will not affect yours.

    I have to compliment you on your plugin... but I also have to confirm that I had a problem.


    After finishing my tests with a couple of OSCAMs I installed on the Egami software, I uninstalled them, and in the end, it wasn't possible. So I used DreamExplorer to delete the logo and folder in the plugin path... but even stranger, when I restarted the plugin, I noticed that all the OSCAM files, not only in the software, but also the OSCAMs I had saved with DreamExplorer on the HDD, had disappeared... this can't possibly happen on the HDD...!!!

    so plugin searches oscam on your box in any directory that's includes usb, hdd. When finds them deletes them . So next ill take that of and go with what abu baniaz suggestions.

    Okay found a few things out. There is another post describing 'cake decoration' also.

    Osmio4k, OpenViX 6.7.020. Extracted the .ipk to get just the binary. Placed it in /usr/softcams along with the OSCam_11868-r802 version I had been using.
    Chose it in Softcam Management. Had to reboot the receiver as even though 11888 was set to Enable startup, started. Live log said not so.


    Lost a ton of pv channels. Thought that the keys expired. Live Log showed correct hash and group.

    SSL opkg remove the old version. Installed 11888 using Install Local Extension. Got a new config directory. Added my keys file.

    Same result. New keys didn't help. Looked to make sure that lib (whatever) 3 was there. If that makes sense. It was.


    Replaced my previous config directory files for the ones installed with the .ipk. Nope. Nothing worked. No pv, no biss.

    Ended up doing a terminal opkg remove 11888. Notice that even though I had previously removed 11868. It was still showing in opkg list-installed.

    Tried a opkg remove again. Then a force remove. Its still showing. But the installed files "seem" gone.

    How do I clean that up? If I run across it again.

    Removed 11888. Rebooted. Installed 11868. Placed my backup keys file. All that was working previously is working again. Hash, group, channels clear.
    And then edited oscam.server to get rid of all the reader clutter. Even AFN is updating with Mohamed's git linked reader.
    What gives?

    Noticed also that setting log levels in live log "don't stick". Had to add log level in the config file. Not complaining, just reporting.
    Can we get the screen cleaned up w/o all of the art work? It's really difficult to scroll up and down to see settings, choices, and details.

    Hi, I have dm7020 with opelpli9star image.


    Installed oscam version 11898-803. In /ect/tuxbox/config, file attributes on installation are set to 755. Should I change them to 644?


    Been having freezes on streamrelay channels for more than a year on this receiver. This version seems the most stable but after an hour or less, the box freezes when on a streamrelay channel. (An issue with various oscam versions for my 7020, irrelevant of the image. There is a whole thread about this in this forum) .


    Other receivers 800se and 8000HD no problems at all . Is is not a sever issue.


    Are there maybe any settings I have to edit manaully to sort this?
