I just joined GIT hub and posted comment on latest commit.
Can you please also attach the two EPG source files that are created. PM if you are not allowed owing to server issues.
If it is working on the file created by XStreamity, maybe Jedimakerxtreme can be adapted to create the same output?

Got reply from TwoIDE:
-you might have a word with KiddaC as its not directly an import issue. With the test files I use there are upto 3 redirects and they are handled corrcetly, so not sure why/how there are so many redirects from one url.
I have the same problem with openatv 7.3. I cannot download epg.
Yes like the last screenshot from the previous page.
Are you getting any indication in epg importer log urie
you can access epg-importer log while its running
I am not to familiar with the code now they changed all the twisted client code. (it all worked when they originally used my edits)
But maybe that encode is still required on the url
pasted-from-clipboard.png
my plugins write the urls in a cdata wrapper as they have query strings in them.
This might have just been tested on rytec urls which are just plain urls.

http://blah.uk:8080/xmltv.php?username=blah&password=blah&next_days=7

I am going to hack it into my box and see if I can determine whats going on.
Interestingly I don't wrap them in a cdata tag in xtreamity. But I do convert ampersands to & instead

I have left a comment on that commit for TwolDE2
The openatv have this problem. For example openpli work perfect the epg.
we might need more logs urie.
I just copied the latest xmltv-importer files from github (although this is on my openatv 7.2 build)
https://github.com/oe-alliance/XMLTV-Import
and jedi epg loads fine without amending anything.
I am confused what the issue actually.
I have just completely uninstalled epg importer, done an opkg update, reinstalled latest version.
No problems with a line I have just tested with jedi.
Things you can try to try and determine what is the cause of this.
Run epg importer as soon as its running. keep checking the log file. Press menu button when its running
If nothing shown in logs.
in your iptv sources.xml find your url
/etc/epgimport

http://blah.uk:8080/xmltv.php?username=blah&password=blah&next_days=7

remove &next_days=7
try again. if fails try removing cdata and replace "&" with &

if that fails, make sure there isn't an exact same name iptv for xstreamity. Strangely it selects both if its in one or more folders.
Which is going to bring in the wrong custom sid.
And after typing all of above I just realised I tested an http line and not a https line.
I will check that now.
I am even more confused now.
Your greek sources start with https, download in browser but not in epg importer.
So I was thinking have they broke https lines.
Yet I have just tried an https iptv url and it works. But that did have a port number other than 80.
Try without port number and those without with port number
i know jedi doesn't work without https port number. (at the moment)
I am just looking through the epg-importer code to see what they are doing.
