    First of all, newnigma2 is an OE2.5 image. You can not install anything with "ipk" extension. Try "deb" extension, ant it should work. You will find BMX for OE2,5 system in its tread.

    First problem is get box sorted ,why not install openatv at least that will be current image and bmx will be in feed.


    The problem I have is however I install an image(usb,online,rescue mode)it says boot success and when the box reboot’s openhdf comes up!!i deleted that image from usb,how I delete it from internal?if I get openatv to install I will find BMX,even if I do software update on an old atv when reboot openhdf again!cheers

    Because an EPG has to match up with the channel ids of your playlist. Random alternative EPGS don't just magically match up to a playlist.
    The alternative EPG is mainly for providers who tell their uses to use blah blah blah alternative epg url instead.

    So you need to create your bouquets and use my other plugin jediepgxtream to assign epg to your channels.

    The box only installs newenigma2 from rescue mode any other image I try openhdf comes up again.I’m ok with newenigma2 for nowth but there’s plugins menu is useless or I can’t see it,how install BMX now?or how upgrade it?because if I try software update the box reboot to openhdf!! Is there telnet cmd where I ask to find and delete openhdf wherever it’s hiding?,help please.cheers

    I don't have a dreambox but if it is booting into openhdf then it is not just a case of deleting and image.

    You need to reflash it.

    Thank you for responding,what do you mean by ‘reflash it’ ? I was thinking if I can find the map this openhdf is ‘hiding’ I could delete it then the box has to flash the new image I’m trying to send.cheers

    Yes you’re right,can you please guide me to the right section?BMX is working fine on my Ocatagon but I can’t get it to go on the newenigma2 image,i wanted openatv or openvix but the dreambox keep booting to oopenhdf.

    I should not even be posting as KiddaC said this has nothing to do with BMX and we do not have same device so try searching on google for example on how to flash your device.

    Hi guys,does BMX imports EPG automatically now?that happened to me when I installed PurE2 image on dreambox 900uhd,installed BMX and epgimport,but didn’t import anything myself I restarted box and epg was there,I’m happy with that but can’t see what I did differently this time.cheers

    No it does not import epg at all it makes bouquets and also bouquetmakerxtream.Your_Iptv_Provider.channels.xml files for epgimport and you select provider in epgimport sources to import epg either manually or automaticaly.

    You should read from page 1 of this section all info is there.

    if those superscript characters are there to tell stream resolution, example uhd, fhd , hd or sd


    then you have no idea of stream resolution will be when selecting a channel so pointless.

    These big chinese providers do this.

    everything after UK | SPORT is superscript. (converted in the above screen shot)

    So all those categories there would be nothing to distinguish between any of them. Although they are all different.

    One of our chinese friends, need to tell these people just to use normal ascii. Simples.

    But anyway... I am still in the midst of rewriting the code for this plugin to fix series memory issues. Been at it about 3 weeks. :yawning face:
    Am I getting any closer to my goal. Maybe. Its just a lot of trial and error. And every day artificial intelligence just goes off on one or gives a completely different suggestion, so I start again and see if its any better.

    In regards to EPG I am facing an issue. I am using OpenATV 7.5.1 with the newest Bouquet Maker Xtream version and after creating the Bouquets which are working fine I don't find an EPG source in the EPG Importer. It seems that it hasn't been created. I have restarted the GUI multiple times and updated the bouquets but the EPG Importer doesn't show any new source. When I am using the same m3u8 URL or the xtream codes I am immediately getting the EPG in other apps.


    Do you have an idea how to fix it?

    Needle in a haystack mate.

    Easiest way is to send me a private message with the line you are using and I can quickly and fully test it.
    It gets resolved a lot quicker that way.

    Won't be until tomorrow though, as I am out tonight.

    I had this issue. I found that clicking on the "Update Bouquets" button in the plugin created the entry in epgimporter.

    Hello Kiddac,

    just willing to include the M3U given by my french Internet provider (free) into my enigma2 box using your last BouquetMaker.

    The m3u file can be reached using http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u and I've inserted a line in the userlists.txt.

    Well, bouquetMaker see the m3u but is not able to do anything.

    The freebox m3u looks as follows :

    Is there a chance to reach my goal ? : to get rid of the tv box needed to watch tv and only use my enigma box !

    Any help would be appreciated.
