    As I said, the old jedi maker works fine. One of the line is quite old, another one pretty new but behaves the same. It also works in different IPTV-apps.

    Jedi was over complicated. And there was several years of tweaking it. But it became too complicated. So it had to die. It was a nightmare to work with.
    The code to pick up whether custom_sids were valid was quite complex in Jedi. Using regex and counting digits or checking to see what it started with.
    Looking at the code for BMX I made it rather simple. Basically if it exists and is not 0 then use it. But that is too simple as your example shows.
    I will tweak the code to be more strict.

    For next release I have made this check to see if the custom_sid is at least 16 characters. If not, ignore it.
    The chance of this being over 16 characters and still invalid is very slim.

    Once you have made bouquets. You can download your providers picons from main menu screen either as SNP or SRP.
    oe-alliance this is quiite easy. For some images like VTI, dreambox or openpli it might be a bit more difficult.

    Amended custom_sids logic - most providers don't include custom_sids in their api code. So most will see no difference. Tottbeck
    pontiak might be worth you testing to.

    Choose categories should now skip live, vod or series if it has categories but no streams. Some crappy providers do that.

    And I was experimenting with downloading updates after deep stand by. I failed.
    But I think now if its missed the scheduled time it will download updates after coming out of deep standby or maybe even when turning your box on. Who knows.

    Do you even have epg from provider have you tested on other devices, Do you have epgimporter installed and selected your iptv provider in that after running BMX and pressed yellow button to import epg.

    yes i do . I have a few iptv providers and all loaded epg in past but now some won't load just stuck on importing 0 events .No big deal as my main IPTV Epg loads fine .. Yes I am using latest extreme maker .

    it could just be provider sometimes their epg can go down and sometimes only available after certain time .

    The plugin crashes when I manually update the bouquets, sometimes it works, while other times it gets stuck when updating the series.


    I only use it in manual because it doesn't work in automatic, can I post the log here ?

    yes post log but make sure you remove you iptv provider details if they are in log , you could also give KiddaC you line details and he could check it.
    But remember this is holidays so you may not get answer for a while.

    Are you using latest version have you removed plugin and reinstalled it from scratch , removing bouquets and deleating bmx_playlists.json from /etc/enigma2/ bouquetmakerxtream folder.

    Also are you trying to add all series or just a few ideally you should only be adding a few series that you watch.


    that is what Xklass or xtreamity is for vod and series.
    Personally I only use BMX for live bouquets.

    Thanks for replying, I restarted the H9 combo with egami 10.6, updated manually again and it updated without errors, but often if I update the receiver freezes and I can only turn it off with the rear switch.

    there is error with series disable series for the moment and try . And still do not know if you are running latest version from forum .

    Also noticed you have problems with openatv as well beginning to seem as if proveder problem.

    I have problem installing bouquetmakerxtream on my VU+ DUO 4K in new OpenPli 9.1 version.... I try to install it as I install always and it it is not installed!. When I go to Plugins to check it it says: Some plugins are not available: Extentions/BouqetMakerXtream (no module named 'requests')


    Just installed fresh version of OpenPli 9.1 and it does not work. It did not work also on the last version of OpenPli 9.0


    Any help please?

    I can see where there error is from you log.
    But I am not 100% sure why its doing it.

    The bit its crashing on is.
    It is meant to download your get.php url
    As this is a big file, its temporarily writes it to /var/volatile/tmp/bouquetmakerxtream/temp
    The we process it.
    But for some reason its not saving the file. So when I try and open this file. It cant find it, so its crashing.


    I will look into it later in the week. I am having a break this week

    Hi Guys.


    Hope you've all had a great Xmas and looking forward to seeing the new year in.


    I've been using jedi for many years with no issues. It was having a bit of an issue last night so assumed I might need an update. Then came across bmx when looking for a jedi update.


    So my question is, if I want to install Bmx would I need to delete jedi? If I do can you point me in the direction of the the best way to delete all jedi programs.


    I'm on an octagon sf8008 if that makes a difference.
