Bouquet Maker Xtream - IPTV Bouquet Maker (new 2023)

Hello!

I tried first time this great plugin as before I used different players such as Xtreamity. I converted whole iptv channel list into boquet list and I found two issues.

1. Not all lists were conveted to boquests but some converted twice:

I have list UK | Sports and UK | Sports*

UK | Sports not converted but UK | Sports* converted twice and now I have no UK | Sports but two UK | Sports* in boquet list

2. Not all picons downloaded

In Xtreamity there are picons for all channels but when I download them few are missing in boquets

Can I somehow fix these issues?

What do you mean you converted channel list into bouquet list

you just add your provider the same way you do in xstreamity , or you can even copy your playlists.txt file from

/etc/enigma2/xstreamity/ folder to /etc/enigma2/bouquetmakerxtream/ folder.

have you made bouquets then run epgimporter first before importing picons.

I mean adding iptv channel lists to my boquetlist including my DVB-S2 and DVB-C lists. This is what is this plugin for right? I wad able ti do that in the way you wrote (copied playlist.txt) but there was an issue during "conversation" from iptv to boquet what I mentiones. The second issue solved due changing max size and max width to unlimited

saalty - yes there is a limit on picon sizes as some are ridiculously large in size. So when downloading 1000s it can seriously effect the speed of the whole process.

As for the name clash. Yes I do make the names file safe to prevent any illegal characters in filenames.

Not a lot I can do about that - its the safest way to do it.
Its just a poor choice of category names by your provider and not really standard practice to add an asterisk to an alternative category.
Drop your provider a message and ask him to change as it clashes in iptv apps.

Looking at my example above.
The example of UK | Sports*
firstly gets cleaned to UK_Sports_ (which is unique)
But my last line of code removes trailing underscores. (making it the same as the other one)

You can amend the code yourself to work in your specific circumstance.

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BouquetMakerXtream/globalfunctions.py

Delete this line should work for you.

Any Idea why i got EPG for only 5 Events per Channels on my Channellist ? i try 0 (Standart) 3,6,7 Days, only 5 Events also after delete the EPG.dat

if i use EPG in XClass oder XStreamity i have full EPG for 5 Days per channel

xstreamity and xklass dont add days to the xmltv download.
This is the same as selecting 0 in BMX

So check your boxes main epg settings - Maximum number of days in EPG / Correct invalid EPG Data

Main EPG Setting are on 14 Days, for my SAT Channels

EPG Importer Settings; i don´t have this option to delete current epg before download which version of epg importer do you use ? my is from VTI Feed. load long description i am also on 5 days

it is in the main settings of your EPG, not in EPG Importer :)

KiddaC , screen shot is from epg importer there is option to delete on openatv version don't know why vti would be different.

i try 3 differents version for epgimport, with all there is no option to delete epg before download

can anyone send me a .ipk link which version would work with this feature ?

as i say, the problem is with all version, that the epg from BMX only have 4-5 Events (5 Hours) per Channel. if i use Rytec Source there is a full EPG for 5 days but the epg is not correct for the german sky broadcast

memolican - if your channels are dark - its nothing to do with the plugins.

Its IPTV - some channels work - some don't. Its never perfect.

Some have weird codecs that enigma2 cant handle as these boxes have limited codecs.

If any channels work, then the plugin is working perfectly fine.

BouquetMakerXtream (BMX) - v1.52

New files on post 1

Added in EPG offset option in playlist settings.

For those images that support it, (not all do), this will add an offset in epg import source files.

i.e you can move your epg schedule back or forward if the programmes are out of sync with the actual local tv schedule.

Your playlist info page will tell you your providers server offset. In most cases this is also your epg offset. But I have made it a manual offset that is set in settings.

If this is best image are the best plugins then why do you need bouquets maker xtream
