    location of EPGImport is fine and it basically does download some 700 events - I can tweak the amount by EPG duration and number of channels to download for. I told EPGImport to place the file in /media/hdd and it is created. But it does not seem to be used. Is the above entry in channels.xml with example.m3u8 in it not an issue?


    Also my EPG-data appears to be pretty huge but I thought when I succeed to limit the download to some 700 events this should not be an issue?

    example.m3u8 is correct dont worry about that. It just needs a url ref. so we use a dummy one.


    See if it works with all epg. Without limiting to only 700 events.

    So you should have 2 files in etc.epgimport

    the channels is all the channels that potentially have epg. But might not.

    EPGImport plugin with ssl support

    Many EPG providers have switched from unsecure connetion http over to secure connection https
    This have been a problem but thanks to KiddaC we now can also with DreamOS use secure source connections.


    Just download the attached .deb file and upload to your /tmp folder.
    Then with Software Manager choose install local extension and install the plugin.


    p.s plugin works good for all who dont need ssl at the moment. So to install this prepare you for the…

    Thank you for that - I think I´ll take the most recent version of BMX and that version of EPGImport and start from scratch (reflash). The above version of EPGIimport is by far the flowest I tried, but that might be a good sign since it might actually parse and pick the correct events. I´ll report back once done. THANK YOU!

    can´t reinstall BMX. After trying I get Extnsions/BouquetMakerXtream unavailable "No module named requests". Any hint?

    Shame on me - did that about three weeks ago but forgot! THANK you.


    But unfortunately I´m back with my original issue - the older version of EPGImport recommended above does not import anything at all (for me).


    Now trying again more recent versions... Is it just me with EPG issues? Maybe I´m jut too stupid?

    Are you using a paid for line or one of the net not all providers actually have epg ,


    have you tried Jedi EPG Xtream

    I understand we do not discusses sources here. BUT:


    I get EPG on/from the very same source with Xstreamity, Therefore it must be the combination of EPGImport with Enigma2 and BMX.


    One thing I asked in another thread already but still don´t get: When I change the place where EPGImport is to put the EPG-File do I not have to also "tell" Enigma2 where to look for that file?

    if you changed it in epgimport you don't have to tell anyone, if you change it in the menu settings of your image I think it's the same thing. Epgimport talks to config.misc

    private message me your iptv line. I will check it tomorrow to see if its your line, or your setup.
    Your epg might just be offset or even have bad data, in which case epgimporter doesn't handle that.

    My xstreamity plugin does funky things with epgs, BMX just uses epgimporter. So they not the same.

    All channels are in subbouquets. If I cooy a bouquet to the main bouquet, after an update of all bouquets from the plugin, all my bouquets in main bouquets list are deleted.

    Do you have a "fix" for me?

    try selecting yes to group bouquets into own folder in main settings.

    This option is to "yes". This creates many subbouquets, but do not solve the problem

    can you not post a screenshot to show what your problem is.

    bmx isn't really designed to move bouquets about once created.
    Every update will just undo all your changes.

    If there is no reference in bouquets.tv then those bouquets extension will be set to .del by enigma2.


    And deleted on the next reboot.
