    Thanks...but I managed to open the stream by writing the correct syntax for the stream in the bouquet file directly.

    The original link is long and is .m3u8

    In that case its probably not a single stream, but an external playlist with a few streams in it.
    If you are using github links you have to link through to the raw file on github.
    i.e.

    No, it is not from github....It is a local station which broadcasts via internet. I think it is .m3u8 due to the same channel being in different resolutions.

    Having a bit of trouble trying to record from my iptv channel. It works OK if I pick dvb but streams seem to struggle at times breakup. Any other setting I get an error message such as could not record due to an invalid service 5001/5002. If I enable serviceapp it give a give a different message something along the lines of check serviceapp?. Any ideas where I'm going wrong. Thanks

    Actually 4097 seems to work with serviceapp disable

    I actually think its a font issue rather than a plugin issue. I don't actually think I am stripping them out. They just not recognised.
    Only larger more complete fonts will have all those special characters and they are going to be large in size.


    So you have 2 problems.
    1) my plugin uses Rounded Mplus 1c which cant show these characters.
    2) Once your bouquets are made then it uses your skin fonts. So I dont know what skin you got installed.

    Here is a photoshop mockup, showing my font, roboto, and arial font.

    I have only be able to find a stalker line with these characters and not an m3u8 playlists. So I cant really test it.

    Hello. Is it possible to add an option to autoupdate channels when box starts? Because i turn off my box, and when i turn on box autoupdate does not run on select time. Can you please help me? I have openatv 7.6

    BMX can only work with what is pulls in from your provider. if new bouquets are added then you need to select them.

    I installed this plugin on Dreambox Two with OpenATV 7.6 image, but the picons are not showing. The picons are downloaded and saved to the USB /picon path, and they are present in that location, but they are not displayed in the channel list.
