Should this skin work on a Zgemma Star 2s running OpenATV 7.3
I installed the common dependencies ipk first, rebooted and then installed the skin before enabling it. The box boots but gets stuck on 99%. I've tried manually deleting the skin folder and editing the settings to go back to my original skin and then reinstalling.

I am pretty that that particular model of Zgemma does not support 1080p framebuffer, so the skin won't work. You will have to install a 720p skin

I know from some of your other posts, your are quite new to this, just having a play around with an older box.
But the zgemma star 2s is a very old slow box. (My first box I ever bought). It would be impossible for me to ever boot this old box up again after using a modern quad core box. I still have my zgemma 2s in a cupboard somewhere.
It isn't going to be a pleasant experience with modern plugins and using iptv on it.
Things have moved on a lot in the last 5 years.
And even more amazingly. How is openatv 7.3 even running on that box. The imageloader is surely too big.
*edit just checked - surprisingly - openatv do do a S2 image still. 
I highly recommend you put some money in a piggy bank and buy a new box for around £100.

Ha, so my other box is a Zgemma H9s, the Star 2S is something I dug out of the cupboard and I'm setting up for a family member.
Performance is actually remarkably acceptable once the box has booted, it can take 2-3 mins. But once up and running iptv is fine, zapping between bouquets and channels is absolutely fine. Just double checked and it is v7. 4 running.
The other threads regarding epg were in relation to the other box, but all that pain has made setting up here fairly straight forward. PICONS I didn't try on the h9s yet, just because I'm too lazy and busy to swap the boxes out.
I will try the skin attached and report my findings.
Its the slow boot times that was the killer for me. My vu zero 4k and dinobot 4k take about 10 secs. Zgemma s2 I could go make a brew.
My 720 skins were originally designed on the zgemma s2.
So they are certainly lightweight enough not to cause that box an issue.
Here are my other 720 skins for it. The 720 skins are no longer maintained as we have moved on from that era.
But you might need an openatv 6.4 image for your box. Later openatv has different code for the skin elements, like the buttons etc. So these skins might boot loop your box. If so, like you said on the first post. You would have to ftp into your box and delete the skin folder, so it then loads default.

And going back to IPTV. The majority of streams nowadays are h265. The zgemma s2 cannot play these. It can only play h264 streams.
As mentioned earlier. I think the last known images these worked on were openatv 6.4 (or 6.5)
But I do have a skin converter tool - (I have everything me 
)
I will run my latest fhd skin through that for you.
See if this works for you. I have done zero checking. Just run it through my tool, which is normally about 99% good.
