HI,
even doing it manually with DreamExplorer
It reboots instantly and doesn't do any backups

Is it possible that it doesn't detect the USB renamed to HDD...??

Did you read ? You cannot call any file on any directory from anywhere in the box... you need to be on the folder where is the file...

cd /hdd/dreambox

./backup.sh /hdd

Why it looks like ok (124 Mb, but must never be higher than 126-128 Mb as a bug in the SSL doesn't allow loading larger images), but remember it is for ORIGINAL box, as it loads the original ssl for DM7020HD.

If you do the backup_japhar.sh, then it will load the Japhar SSL into the backup file.
