Openpli8xstar uses the new format with whitelist, if you use the internal IP address... then you fall on the IPTV software (Gstreamer) and all what relates to streaming... we know gstreamer is less reliable than exteplayer3 exactly for such behavior...

We don't care, we talk about what is in the image and git used to compile both oscam, and oscam-emu, with the patches we have.
You cannot use other sources or other gits that definitely will be different and have different behaviors, you are not talking about the actual thread argument, so it's out of it.

Setting in etc/ enigma2 was Ok.
Rebooted did not clear....then loaded a new channel list and it cleared...
Do not know actually what was causing the problem....
But issue solved...hope it does not freeze...
By tuner locked you mean that when you zap to another channel not using streamrelay it does not clear right? You would have to change channel again.... I used to do so on my newenigma2 image.
However, on openplistar image when using a streamrelay channel list in the old format, zapping from a steamrelay channel to another channel not using streamrelay was clearing instantly (tuner not locked if I can use this phrase)
It's two different ways to do streamrelay, behavior will act differently.

Streamrelay (play with streamrelay) does not need to be adjusted in channel settings because it is by default. After copying the whitelist (etc/enigma2), did you scan the Astra 19.2 satellite and make reboot. You no longer need the old userbouquet, but open sky channels directly from the channel list.
No problem with zap to another channel or package.

Re channel list I did not scan, I downloaded one...I suppose it does not make any difference...
Whitelist has attributes set by default to 644.
I am now clearing channels from channels with sat scan format....( Service:...) ...the problem before guess was that I renamed file to whitelist from whitelist_streamrelay...
However, when I change to some particular channels using streamrelay, the rest of the channel list becomes dim and if I then zap to another package not using streamrelay, I have to change it again to clear.

This is normal, the tuner is blocked for the streamrelay channel/transponder, as it takes the dvb from it and restreaming it with ecms to decode.

Is seems to me that with old style streamrelay channel list tuner is not blocked as this allows zapping.
it takes some seconds to unlock the tuner/stream, and then you can change channel. It works like that as it takes the control over the tuner, that's streaming (like if you were recording to hdd).
