OSCAM no longer working after OpenVIX 6.6

I don't need to mines works as suposed to with oscam-latest from feed.
I was saying you are causing confusion saying install cccam first then oscam.

But yes but you still need to edit oscam.server details add you cccam details in reader.

just do as mentioned in the topic I set the shortcut to.No problems if you instal oscam in usr/softcam and attrib 755 .Config files then in etc/tuxbox/config and start by softcam manager.

No need at all to install cccam first and really useles in openvix

I never use that.Just download latest version and copy in usr/softcam and attrib 755.Simple and easy and keeps working

As for download latest that could be every other day and the amount of different versions available can be totally confusing for some people

So for me nothing is easier that just dowloading official versions from feed at least you know it will work on you device and they also get updated if doing software update.

there has got to be some thing on the vix image stoping othe oscams from loading i tried dozen of times it dose not like it at all some one must no besises thats its or it was a good image

why change a winning team when there are minor updates in the updates ? Just use the one that is working fine and leave the update alone for some time. i download only finished versions so no problems .

Openvix has build in for softcams to work fine but you need to know how to use them. mostly all options are build in.

there is some thing stoping u using other cams i dont no why strange to me

car123 you are right, I updated to 6.6 and it deleted all my bouquets, rebooted into simple 1080 skin, and nicam 15.00 would not load no matter what i did. it was working perfect on 6.5. But I dont trust new versions so I had copied over to my d: all the nicam files and replaced them in etc/tuxbox/config/nicam. the strange thing was oscam still worked.

So you need to say receiver you are using and the skin. You also need to know how to ftp ie filezilla but I use winscp with windows 10.

Something gets corrupted when the update is done.

I use softcam manager to start and stop.

ps main box has 6.4 and wont be updated for a good while
