  • Yes i see ip address in front panel of the box.

My laptop is connected to my router via Rj45 and

DM800HDse is only connected to laptop via mini com port (service) NO RJ45 CABLE.

That's your mistake... IT MUST have RJ45 to the Router as well... otherwise how can you find the IP address of your box in your network if it's NOT connected to the network ?

Sorry My mistake. I had Flashed PLI Image on DM800HDse A8P Sim with only one RJ45 Cable because i have only one cable with me, Now I remember what i did, I had connected my Laptop to router via Wifi And the Dreambox DM800HDse with RJ45 cable, in that way i got the Correct Box Ip, Because i have cross checked in my TP Link Router Setup -DHCP-Client Menu, It Showed Dreambox Name and also the IP Assign to It.

  • ok i got the box flashed, now i can see dreambox console in my browser, now plese kindly guide me which is the best image i should flash in my dreambox?

i have all three box with 2.10 sim two of them are from sunray and one from another company. Please also tell me whether i should flash new image via browser or jaspher flasher?

    thanks

  • Generally the best and easiest is to flash via the Browser the images.

The boxes are all same ? DM800HDse ?

The important is to know the sim inside, as you can ONLY install images for the sim in the box.

    For DM800HDse (v1), there is

    - Original Sim / A8P = Original images (DM800 SE HD Clone SIM A8P)

    - Ferrari Sim = Ferrari images (Only Kernel 2.6, so mostly EOL, better to upgrade to Japhar Sim)

    - Japhar Sim = Japhar images (DM800 SE HD Clone Japhar Ferrari Sim Images)

    - Sim 2.10 = Sim2 images (DM800 SE HD Clone SIM 2 Images)

    - estar Sim 3.0 = estar images (DM800 SE HD Clone Estar Images)

If you really want to have the latest images (from 2024), and with a lot of functionnalities including IPTV support, then perhaps from A8P/Sim2/Ferrari/eStar, it could be of interest to upgrade to Japhar Sim (Still supported : http://openpli8xstar.japhar.net/OpenPLi/)

  • I Had flashed two different images one via browser and another via jaspher flasher but i am still getting Bios No Ca Found on the Panel Display.

    1.openatv-6.4-dm800se-sim2-20230923

    2..BlackHole-3.0.2C_DM800se-sim2-SSl84D-20160625-Houara

JapharFlasher works with all images and sims.

Open the box and check the Sim you have inside, just to be sure of it.

If you continue to have the NO CA ERROR and the image is good for the Sim, then it means the Sim is defective and needs replacement.

  • My box is already open (without top cover) I have atleast three 2.10 sim, tried all, but no luck.

Also tried on windows xp, i think it has some hardware problem.

  • All my sims are DM800SE sim210, the third pic from above, i have one working dm800hdse D6 Board, sim 210, i have install vu+ blackhole image in it and its working ok,so i checked all the sims in D6 Working Board, all booted fine, then i replaced working sim in this box also flashed Blackhole image, everything went smoothly, disconnected the flasher and the cable, restarted Dreambox and its showing No Ca Found, Its A Hardware Fault.

Ok, then if your Sims are working with the D6 board, it means these are OK.

The only reason could be the motherboard fault. Did you used the D11 with the power supply of the D6 ? Try them all if not. Just to be sure it's not a PSU problem.

Once this is done, Johnny can help further if it's something with the motherboard, it could be the UART chip that communicates with the Sim that could be faulty... if it's not something else.

Concerning your D6, that works, don't touch or take any part from it, better to buy a new flash chip (same model) and put it on the D11... to not have at the end also a D6 dead, that allows you to compare with the defective D11 motherboards (you can swap tuners or frontpanel, and also take voltage/amp/etc values from it to compare with the D11.

  • hi, but it could be possible that the software is not compatible and is not for clone, or try to exchange the sim that you know is working on another dream and test it on the one that is giving problems.

I already tried that, as i said in my previous reply, i checked all the sims in working D6 and all booted fine, i got three psus, all are ok.

Regarding the software uncompatibilty, this comes later, first i need the box to be detacted by the flasher tool, I mean its not showing box:DM800 in the left side in the Flasher tool, just box:- No green bar going, and the Display panel: Bios No Ca Found. But it sure gives a beep when i insert mini usb plug, also in the device manager shows cp210x uart-usb and the port it is assign to.

That's why I am talking about the UART/RS232 chip, that could be the same that manages the Console/Service Port AND the sim card, you have to see with Johnny the schematics... as that chip could fail or could have not enough power to properly function.

  • ???????

ok...if so...the flesch mini usb device works well...the problem now I think is the Lan (it does not communicate), because to write the software it goes via Lan.

Sorry My Friend, I think i have jumple up everything, i am Riding on a two horse at a time, the software problem which you are referring to is the one Box which is D7, which i have mention in my post#24,#26, that box accepts Booloader, Firmware, and also gets detected in Flasher Tool, But after Succesful flashing everything, First Boot there is No Display on the TV Screen , Only Panel Oled Shows No Ca Found.

The Lan was communicating, i saw the right yellow led blinking when the image was uploading, also tried to upload image without selecting the ip (Unchecking Local Ip), though it took 12-13 Minutes to upload the image to the box, then the box Flash was written from inside, and Got Flash Copy Succeeded.

The Above Pics are from D11 Box, it has completely different problem, D11 Doesn't get detected in Flasher Tool, Below its not showing Box Type:

Now the problem is that, D11 is only showing connection prepared, now switch on the dreambox, When i Click On Connect Button in the Flasher Tool there is no Response from the box, infact it should immediately display the box type in the left below, but no box detection no green bar progress,it's only showing No Ca Found on the panel, I have tried all the flasher Tools, Sunray, Jaspher, Dreamup, optiflasher pro nothing works. This is a hardware fault and i have mention it in another forum to Johny.
