    For a few days, the shortcut menu with the F4 key no longer appears,

    Control Oscam

    Restart Bitrate

    Download Pluto

    and other Plugins

    If it is possible to restore it. Thanks

    SF8008 OpenATV 7.8 Alpha // SF8008 OpenATV 7.6 - Motor 70°E 34°W

    On Octagon-sf8008, on OpenATV-7.4 there was a very useful option to goto Menu_Setup>System>Storage Devices>Initialization

    from where, for instance, one could initialize a micro sdcard. Since this option is not available on OpenATV-7.6, can it be re-instated, please?

    is something new in settings?

    VLC open nothing when is tuner in sdandby mode

    I select to disconnect so I can scan and connect again but nothing happen, must restart box. Gigablue support said that issue with remote disconnecting is fixed on GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K Pro.

    There are 2 problems that continue to be present.


    The Extensions Menu is missing and when you perform an Online update the decoder no longer restarts, you have to turn it off from behind and turn it on again.

    Perhaps give some more info what device you are using, what was your last image date you are updating.

    But I just went to do online update on gigablue uhd 4k pro last image was from 11th and I have just noticed 276 updates available .

    so no that is major update better to flash online with restore settings.

    So I personally will cancel update and do flash online with restore settings

    And always better to make backup image so you can restore incase things go wrong.


    And example I did try to update on other slot and here was output. information on screen.

    ok stuck at 49 but hopefuly that means I can still connect via terminal and boot to another slot

    I will now try normal method flash online with restore settings to see if that works because of size of updates that were there.


    And hopefully you have multiboot device and once you say what your reciever is then some one may be able to give you info to boot to other slot


    Edit: Flash online wth restore settings worked.

    Yes "Urie" it was 260 updates a day after I had updated the box normally online with 24 updates so todays was as you say a cross fingers with continue with online update as in your bottom pic but my zgemma h7s had issues when rebooting and stuck on count up on led to 49 then gets stuck so ive flashed todays new base image and used my backup and seems to have worked and have everything back. Just wish they wouldnt add so many in one go which can cause this sort of issue.

    No not normally that many updates but when you see that many then it is major update so always better to flash online with restore settings, but glad you had a backup image :)

    today I updated my octagon sf 8008 decoder via telnet. 355 updates, streaming no longer works and I noticed that extplayer3 is not present in serviceapp. Maybe it depends on this. It can be solved or you have to wait

    next update?
