Hello, I tried updating to OpenATV 7.6.1. Kodi launches fine, but now, in addition to the black screen, the tuner freezes when I exit Kodi. I have to completely restart the device to get my tuner working again. I'm giving up on OpenATV.

Is a swap partition of at least 2GB created and active in E2 to support the RAM? Otherwise, it won't work.
And there should also be plenty of free space on the HDD (/media/hdd).

I have a 120GB hard drive at the rear and everything works fine with OpenVix, OpenBlackHole, or the latest Pure 2 v7.6 images, so it's definitely the OpenATV 7.6 image that's causing the problem....

Did anyone have a problem like me with OpenATV 7.6 (7.6.0; 34646+9db2577; SF8008)? It seems, that the 'OK' Button will still hitten.
It comes not from the remote controller, i have removed the battery from it. With OpenATV 7.5.1 -> same Problem
with p.e. OpenPLI 9.1 no Problem.
Any Idea?
Thx
I've found the problem.
It was the front panel. I found a problem anywhere (it still switched ON and OFF) and there was the problem with it.
So i have unplugged the front panel, and the problem was gone.
A new panel costs ca. 30 €.

is there problems with oea/5.6/cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4 feed enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-master-ipv4only is not available
Sorry for hijacking, but is there an "emu" version of oscam-master?
I just renamed the latest version from Verdeoro, sent to /bin folder and it works fine both with emu channels and those others without the need to stream.
Wondering if an original version exists somewhere..

Not named emu master but there is emu I used to download all those oscams e.t.c got fed up to many versions and continually changing them.
I just now install secret feed and oscam just updates via software update.

I want to report what I could detect from using the OATV 7.6.0 installed in one of the flash partitions of my DreamTwo.
With the cec-hdmi function activated, the TV remains on when the decoder is switched off;
When you put the decoder on standby, the display remains completely dark, I can't find any function to display the time.
The colors of the picons on the display appear staggered. For example, the blue color of the Rai 1 HD picon appears purple. This is not the case with other images.
I can't find any way to activate a PIP window.
I hope that action can be taken to correct this.
Thank you.

In HDMI-CEC setting have you enabled advanced mode
for PIP long press BLUE Button and you will fine option to activate picture in picture ( pip)
there is also Menu > Setup > Usage & GUI > Display Settings for brightness etc on display
Menu > Setup > Usage & GUI > Skin Settings in there select LCD/Front Panel display type and you can ladd different ones from extensions display
so nothing to correct just need to set it up correctly
As for The colours of the picons on the display appear staggered. you need to show screen shot no one will know what you mean
also what skin are you using.

Thank you for your answer.
I think you don't have a dreamtwo. What you say I think applies to the dm920, on which, by the way, the PIP, although present, does not work properly if you have an MS FBC tuner like mine (BCM45308X) used in simple mode. I do not find the option you mention on the two. It is not present (screenshot attached).
For cec-hdmi in advanced mode, the TV is already turned off, but it does not work.
There is also no possibility to change the brightness of the display, but there is LED adjustment.
Skin of the image set to FHD

For the dm920, again with OATV 7.6.0, which specifies that the display colours are correct, the TV will switch off regularly with the cec-hdmi active.
As indicated in my previous post about the operation of the BCM45308X tuner sat in simple, precise mode that I connected two sat descents to two inputs present, but it is not possible to use them neither for the PIP, nor to record a program different from the one you are seeing.
It is, however, possible to do this using one sat input and the other dtt.

Correct I do not have dreambox i have gigablue quad pro with 45308X FBC, but I do not understand why you cannot record other channels than what you are watching.

I use the simple, not advanced mode, because I'm in the condominium. I don't know if it's working properly in advanced mode. I think OATV doesn't have the right drivers for such a tuner on dm920. I had hoped that with the ability to select the "simple mode" that was not there before, the problem would be solved.

but even in simple should tuner B not be connected to A these images are from gigablue manual not sure if it helps.

My configuration is indicated in the attached photo. It seems to me to be the only coherent one that can be selected in simple mode. If someone from OATV tells me to set up differently, I can safely try.

found this,
There are two driver models for the FBC tuners of Dream.
Old school like my FBC without DVB-S2X (first editions). Has a fallbackpart for adressing cable1 on Tuner A1, cable2 on Tuner A2. A3-A8 are virtual tuners.
The there are the newer FBC DVB-S2Xtuners without that ols compatibility mode in the drivers. They have to be handled new style cable1 on Tuner A1 (with A2-A4 as virtual slaves in OE-A images), cable2 on Tuner A5 (with A6-A8 as virtual slaves in OE-A images).
not sure if it matters this was with motor.
