  • I think most errors are on your side if you are not blaming skinners now you say problem with openatv. And you seem to be have problems constantly.

  • there comes a radio man

And makes an outdoor antenna so hope there will be better signal

    for that next week ??

tried running some skins without plugins it ran poorly

actually think that it is someone who is making some trouble maybe I am wrong

    • Official Post

Its go to be your CI module or as in another thread, signal issue. Can you try you receiver at another location? Or can you borrow someone else's receiver, not same model?

  • plannerFS plugin

First of all: your skin is crashing because it has a typo.

    descreption → description

    Code
05:54:48.9777 Traceback (most recent call last): 05:54:48.9778 File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/skin.py", line 2431, in processScreen 05:54:48.9779 File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/skin.py", line 2262, in processWidget 05:54:48.9780 skin.SkinError: [Skin] Error: Component with name 'descreption' was not found in skin of screen '<embedded-in-PlanerFS7>'!

Secondly: The plugin tries to load a calendar (ICS), but instead of an .ics file it gets… HTML (i.e. a website).

    Looks like wrong settings.

    Code
    ValueError: <!doctype html>
Content line could not be parsed into parts
  • How do I please remove the typing error?

  • Hi!

I have an issue what don't know how to solve.

I use OpenATV 7.6 latest build on my AB PULSe 4K receiver. My problem is with picons. I mounted a dedicated folder on my NAS (FSTAB) as HDD replacement and it is working well, I see the folders under my /media/hdd.

I would like to use NAS to store the picons as I use BoquetMakerXtream to export iptv channels to bouquet and lot of picons are downloaded from server. I had a problem because of this that my emmc was full.

When I install picon set (even from feed or from ipk) the /picon folder were created to root folder and picons are stored there. Therefore before I install picon set I made a symlink of picon directory to NAS: ln -s /media/net/pulse4k/picon /picon (first I mounted NAS as non HDD replacement so it was under /media/net/pulse4k, not tried to make symlink since I changed to HDD replacement). First I installed ipk from terminal and got lot of errors, finally just logos directory was downloaded. When I removed symlink then all picons are downloaded to /picon folder in root folder and everíthing works fine.

Other problem is that when I download picons from iptv server with BMX, then I choose /media/hdd/picon as path, and it is downloaded there well, but no picons appears non in service list or infobar.

    How can I change:

    1. to install picons from feed or from ipk to /media/hdd/picon and not to separate /picon folder in root

    2. also to change picon path to folder on NAS

  • You can set picon path in plugins > menu but I have found out that when you install via ipk that never works.

    Capture.PNG

I just manually unpack picon ipk on pc and copy picons over or you could use file commander. Also I would not use mechanical hard drive to store picon folder.

Personally I just use usb flashdrive for picon folder then it is accessible from and image if multibooting.

  • Thank you!

For some reason just Internal flash appears in this list, however NAS folder mounted well at /media/hdd/

  • left or right remote buttons to change.

  • Doesn't work. Maybe it does not like network drive, I'm going to try with simple 15GBusb stick

  • Is there any way to show the transponder info when zapping between channels? Only way for me to see that is via the menu and several sub-menus to get to it.

  • your usb should be ext4 not vfat. You need to format it and initialise it in your engima2 system

You can probably do it this way.
Click the yellow button.. mount point
    Change mode to Advanced
    Change file system to ext4
