I'm having a slight issue with the EPG in E2. Whenever I select an item in the EPG, my box just tunes to channel 0001, the first item in my favorites bouquet.
I'm running OpenATV 7.6 Beta, but it also seems to happen on my 7.4 image. It seems to happen with multiple providers (all imported via BouquetMakerXtream and EPG-Import). Also seems to happen with multiple skins.
Anyone have troubleshooting tips?
No matter which item I select on my epg, regardless of what bouquet I'm in, my box tunes to the first item in my first bouquet, which happens to be my Favorites bouquet. It should tune to the channel where the event I'm selecting is occurring.
if it helps as well, the items are being set as service type 5002 using serviceapp and extplayer3.
If I understood well your problem is example, if you watch channel on position 30 and you want to see
epg for this channel , epg show always first channel in bouquet. In oatv 7.6 beta you will find many various
settings for epg in menu.
Yes, that's what's happening. Ive tinkered with the settings to no avail. I have the okay button action set to Zap and Exit

From which EPG screen are you selecting the channel? There are several EPG screens. Maybe post a picture?
Debug log may be more useful, but please ensure you delete any sensitive/private details.
I'll send a picture later today, but its the GraphicalEPG, the one that shows events in a grid, with a channel list on the left and the events arranged linearly to the right of the channel.
Which log/logs would be most useful in this case?

I may be wrong but when in graphical epg press menu to go to settings and make sure start mode is set to standard not channel 1

There is a setting to preview EPG. So while watching channel A, you can select channel B and view what will be coming up. Once you finish browsing EPG for channel B, you return to what you were watching initially, i.e channel A.
The various EPG screens were primarily designed for browsing EPG. For selecting channels, there is the channel selection screens.
As usual, what doesn't help, is the usual mixing between bouquets and EPG. Epgimport will do nothing with channels/bouquets. It fetches EPG.
Please check whether you have the same problem with DVB channels.
Maybe Enigma2 has lost focus of what channel it's on. This is easily remedied by using the channel selection screen, once you have selected a couple of channels using the channel selection code, the EPG screens will follow. Press Up( next to OK) then blue to select Bouquet/Favourite. Or the TV button.

Also, unfortunately I do not have any DVB channels to test with as I don't have a dish on this box.
I disabled the channel preview mode and the behavior still persists, not sure what else to try.

I was griping at openatv not you. Why would you want to go to channel one when opening epg guide. Not something I would ever do.

Agreed on that one. I can't think of any commercial EPG that allows anything other than starting at the channel you're currently tuned to.
Also just noticed in the screenshot of the EPG it shows the bouquet as Favorites (TV), when that's not at all the bouquet that I'm in? Perhaps its related, but I'm not sure how to change it.
