Hi, does anyone know how to help me to enable the HDMI input? I'm using OpenPli 9.x. Do I need a plugin? I found Gutemine ipk version 2.5, but when I try to install it gives an error and I can't see the plugin.

Tks, I'll try, but I want to point out that I'm referring to the HDMI-in input of the dm900, which allows you to connect other devices (i.e. Android box or Sky decoder) not to the HDMI-CEC function which concerns the control of the device with the TV remote control and vice versa....
Edit: I try but nothing change...other tips?

The HDMI input would need to decrypt the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) which is not supported by DMM.
So better to use a device that decrypts it, and output the HDMI in clear,

P.S.: HDCP

Tks, I know dhcp problem, and I already have a split like this to bypass dhcp, I only need to active the hdmi-in port on my Dm900

With OpenPLi, you can add an HDMI-input to the channel list.
#SERVICE 8192:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::HDMI-IN
#DESCRIPTION HDMI-IN
This can also be done on the box using the "Insert Item" option
- open a User Bouquet - press MENU button - press #4 (Insert entry)
#SERVICE 8192 probably won't work for a DM9x0
---------
Some pli homebuilds added the HDMI-input via the blue button.
That works, but you'll need to set your box's video settings to a maximum of 1080p

there is no such plugin on open images, use images based on the dream OS.

For the other receivers with HDMI in, OE-A images and official OpenPLI allow viewing/recording from the input. There is no need for any plugin. You can do as above and add the bouquet entry. Or press the blue button and switch to HDMI input. The hdcp issue is present and there is a restriction on resolution depending on the drivers of the receiver. some will only do 720P.
If it is not showing or working for the DM900/920, maybe some files need amending.

so it's not about the recording, but about something else, the author of the topic has clearly stated what he needs..He connects an android set-top box to the hdmi-in input of the receiver and switches from the receiver to the set-top boxes via the enigma2-plugin-extensions-hdmi-in_2.6-r0_all.deb plug from the dream OS image or vice versa..
on open pli images, this plugin does not work on python3.x images, even though it is available in ipk format. And on the image of open pli 8.3 from satpong, this plugin works fine for me, who knows how to make a mod version for immages with python 3.x.. good luck!!!

How can you record what you cannot view? I repeat, there is no need for a plugin on OE-A images for other receivers. You can view/record as detailed above. I will connect my DM900 later to check.
Screenshot from Duo 4K attached.
I sometimes use the Duo 4k to view the Viark using the HDMI input on the Duo 4k because I can use bluetooth headphones on the Duo 4K.

I don't think you understand what we're talking about..You give an example of images based on alliances, such as open atv, open vix egammi and the like, and we are talking about the image of open pli. It is assembled on a different basis...

There is no OpenPLi image for the DM 900. OpenPLI do not support it.
Nonetheless, he can still use the bouquet entry on whatever image he uses. There is no need for any plugin. He can still install it if he wants.
-
Basically, you can switch to the hdmi-in input in the image of the open pli from satpong on its latest build by pressing the blue button on the remote control and selecting the option as in the screenshot..
-
Just connected the DM900 using OpenVix. The option is there and works for viewing. But you cannot record. Do the custom PLI images allow recording?
-
DM9x0 HDMI-in recordings on open images do not work or create a blank recording.
DM9x0 HDMI-in recording works with DreamOS images.

why does everyone focus on the inability to record from the hdmi-in input? the author of this topic does not need the recording option, reread carefully the 3rd post of the topic, everything is very clear what he wants..Ability to switch between HDMI-in and HDMI-out

ths, I used this method on my older decoder vu+ with openpli and it worked well; in dm900 It created the channel in channel list but no video input...

Obviously I have no idea how to edit the image to make the plugin work...but thanks anyway...

Here we are talking about the DM900, I also had a 4K VU+ and without any plugin I could see and record from the HDMI-in. My question starts from this: how can I do on the DM900 what I did on the VU+? I assumed that the DM was superior to the VU+, it would have been better if I got another VU+ since I need a decoder with HDMI-in that work...

Before switching to Delite I was using openpli 9.x on the newly purchased dm900....I'm not drunk or crazy, it will be a modified version but it exists, I assure you. and I assure you that with the bouquet entry the channel is created but no image passes or is visible....

Thanks for the tip, I'll look for and try the satpong version, the one I had no way with either the blue button or the entry channel added manually in the bouquet
