    Completley remove all red lines.
    Edit as you see in lime.

    Your cline in your box should be this going by your posted configs,

    C: lan_ip_of_server 12000 cccam cccam

    e.g 192.168.0.9

    Try that & report back mate.

  • M8, can I ask you if this is your first attempt at a CS Server?
    I have never encountered this problem from anybody who followed this tutorial. If this is your first attempt at a CSW Server I would recommend using a box as a server before you attempt a stand alone PC Server so you can get an understanding of how the oscam/cccam setup works.

    Firstly, Have you established weather your Desktop is x64 compatible?
    During the install did you run script as root user?
    If the initial x64 cccam did not work, there is a good chance that you do not have a x64 machine.
    replacing the cccam binary with the one from the x32 auto install should work in that case, but you will have to chmod 755 the new file once you have replaced it, otherwise it will not be executable.

    Apart from that m8, we have nowhere near enough info to diagnose this problem. You could try manually starting the cccam binary with this line in terminal...

    Code
    sudo CCcam.x86_64 -b

    or

    Code
    sudo /usr/local/bin/CCcam.x86_64

    If you get file not found, etc you know that your cccam file is named incorrectly & you will have to name it to "CCcam.x86_64" for all the scripts to recognise it.

    All that I can tell you m8 is that this script has been tried & tested hundreds of times, so it is a mistake somewhere along the line by you.. Re-read each step to try and find out where you went wrong.

    Good Luck

    Thanks m8, as suggested above, make sure your PC is x64 compatable, if not, replace the x64 cccam file with the x32 cccam binary in post 12 (I think) of this thread.. Then chmod 755 it & reboot... Report back m8

  • hi i have 1210 installed been working ok but now cccam just seems to kep stopping every now and then. the server is ok and oscam is ok its just the cccam, is there any command that can go in the script to check cccam constantly and restart it if it fails.
    also cccam 2.1.3 is well out dated now i know we need to use it for the 256 trick butis there no way of using a newer version i need oscam to read all my locals
    thanks alex

  • followed all instructions and everything is working fine, except when i changed oscam port 8888 to 8989.
    i get an access denied.
    and ubuntu server shows on putty app this line:
    unauthorized access from *.*.*.* flag 1
    could it be the fact that oscam is unstable?
    Any solutions for this?

    There is a check script installed with autoinstall. (This will not work if you changed the name of your cccam binary)
    & Here is a collection of commands to help Admin CS Server

    If you go any further than cccam 2.1.3, you will lose hops with oscam..

    This has nothing to do with unstable build of oscam...

    If you changed oscam webif port, then you have to access it with the new port i.e.
    192.168.1.***:8989

    If that does not work, check the oscam.conf file & Make sure the Webif section contains the line:

    Code
    httpallowed                   = 0.0.0.0-254.254.254.254

    This allows connection to webif from any IP Address

  • oscam 403 Forbidden Access denied.

    did u open oscam port in your router?
    I also opened port in ubuntu and i have to make a reboot to see this work.
    of course i have changed line inside oscam.conf

    Code
    from:
    httpallowed                   = 0.0.0.0-254.254.254.254
    to :
    httpallowed                   = 192.168.0.0-192.168.254.254

    I know the following is optional if you don't have a firewall installed on your server. i couldn't make this work untill i did the steps below.
    use the following command to open port in ubuntu [just to make sure firewall in server doesn't block anything]

    Code
    sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -d 0/0 -s 0/0 --dport 8888 -j ACCEPT

    then reboot using:

    Code
    sudo reboot

    don't forget to open the same port in your router.

    Good luck

    Hi,

    Installed this and everything is working great, a quick question i can't seem to connect to the proftpd service with a ftp client? anything i need to configure for it to start i did everything like explained inetd mode

    I'm a total unix newbie when it comes to this stuff :P

    What errors do you get?
    proftpd should have been installed by the script but if for any reason it hasnt you can install it with this command as root.

    Code
    apt-get install proftpd
  • I found the solution please correct me if i'm wrong:

    xinetd isn't installed by default so:

    "sudo apt-get install xinetd"

    after that it wouldn't start i got:

    ProFTPD warning: cannot start neither in standalone nor in inetd/xinetd mode.

    i found this after some research:

    The only change you really need to make is change the path to the FTP server. This fix works for both inetd and xinetd. For a proper solution for xinetd please see the section below.

    Proper xinetd fix
    I reckon that the creators of xinetd decided to support inetd compatibility by supporting the /etc/inetd.conf file. If you want to configure xinetd the proper way you can create a config file for it in /etc/xinetd.d/ftp and stick the following lines in it:

    service ftp
    {
    disable = no
    flags = REUSE
    socket_type = stream
    wait = no
    user = root
    server = /usr/sbin/proftpd
    server_args = -c /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf
    }
    socket_type: Sets the network socket type to stream.
    protocol: Sets the protocol type to TCP
    wait: You can set the value to yes or no only. It Defines whether the service is single-threaded (if set to yes) or multi-threaded (if set to no).
    user: User who will run proftpd
    And finally restart the service: sudo service xinetd restart.
