    Appreciate very much on the configurations of AD-Teknik AB Multiprogrammer 3.6 USB to work with ubuntu.


    Tried the below settings with my pc server but could not get it to work. AD-Teknik is not recognised by server.

    Had change device = 003:002 from /dev/ttyUSB1 but still cannot power on the reader.

    after doin a lsusb, the device was show as bus 005 device 003

    Yes i had change accordingly but sometimes it works and lot of times it doesn't. Everytime i reboot the server, it will not be able to read the ad teknik.

    Are you only getting the problem when you reboot server?


    I have a smargo and had a similar problem when i restart server (not Oscam)


    It seemed to be that the server would re-allocate the USB ports hence on restart the ID changed?


    Have you got a powered Hub...i have found that with the USB hub anytime i restart server it seems to keep Smargo connected?


    If you restart Oscam in the Webif it should keep your reader connected! I don't really find the need to restart my server and only do it when i can't remember the last time it was done lol

    Also... it could be possible that CCcam takes ownership of the reader when started first..


    There is nothing to solve that, other than starting oscam first.. to take ownership..


    Then start CC-Cam after..

    Everytime I start the server I will get the below. The USB port is not reallocated.
