any ideas anyone? -
make sure its saved as CCcam.cfg once cline info entered in notepad.
-
just browse to the box ip and type it in :-) (works with the latest patched firmware)

all i have read says should be saved as allshares.dat not cccam.cfg

It should be saved to usb key as allshares.dat
An easier way ( i find) to input lines is by using your laptop.
First:
Type in your ariva ip into web browser
Click module and pick which emu you want to run.
Insert line details.Then:
On ariva, open up emu,
Choose your line,
Hit connect. -

I know its possible to input the lines with the remote control but this is a pain in the backside so it would be handy to upload by usb or get the online configurator system going...i will have a look again tonight with your guide above..thanks -
Type your ariva ip into the address bar in the browser, not the search section.
It will look something like 192.168.x.xx -

does it matter if dhcp is set to on or off... -
hi,budy if is only one line to put it just do it manualy with remote control take 2 minutes .
-
hi dhcp on , then umplug electric and plug it back
message on screen success get ip

i got as far as that with the " success got ip" etc and my ip address appears to be faded out so i use this ip into my address bar but still no joy so i dont know what i am doing wrong.......does it matter if i use chrome or firefox or safari or should it work on all of them..... when i enter the lines by remote control everything works fine but i just wanted to figure out why my online congigurator wont work as codar described to do , as it is quicker to type a line in . than do it by remote control , of course to upload by usb would be the handiest but allshares.dat filename dont seem to work either...i think i will just stick to the old reliable remote control to enter the details....thanks guys

I use firefox and works fine.
Just make sure your laptop/pc is on the same network/router as the ariva -
