Help!! Dm800hd

    Long story,


    I was downloading a plugin tonight when the power cut..


    When my box rebooted it looked totally different and I was greeted by a message 'service unavailable check tuner config'


    So I did but with no luck it just says empty and I cant activate it..


    Also It is connected to the internet all ok but the time/date are showing up wrong i.e. 1/1/2000 and time is 00:01 and so on


    So I FTP to my box and everything appears ok there and my c line is still there..


    Where do I go from here lads????


    Gutted this has happened really was preforming great that little box :(


    Also it is a genuine box.

    I agree your box firmware is corrupted now due to power failure during upgrade so best thing to do is flash it from scratch.


    My favorite images are Nemesis and Dream Elite.

    Did it, but when i try to flash image over internet it just gives me no CA error again.


    When I try to connect via Dreamup it says dreamup upload completed waiting for acknowledge, and says on that screen forever more.. :(

    Try resetting to factory settings and then reflash with the image of your choice via modem. If that does not work use a null modem cable directly connected to your computer. This should work.

    You are trying to install an image that is built for a clone. First time i've ever seen anyone get a no CA error on a genuine box :haha:


    You need to flash an image written for a genuine box not a clone. You will find them here.
