hi guys can anybody help me plz my usb doesn't work on my openbox or is it the usb stick that im using. looked at some youtube clips and it comes up usb connected on the clips but does not on my open box thanks

Does it work in your computer? can you access files on it through the computer? Have you tried formatting it and trying again?

are you formating the USB fat32? that may help or it may just be a dodgy USB for openboxes anyway? Try another?
you are right they autodetect so it should tell you if ok? i presume you cant select the upgrade tool and locate the file on the USB? may be worth a check!Failing those options have a look here although i have never needed to use this method as yet lol

Have you tried doing a full format of the USB stick as opposed to a quick format, that sorted the problem out for me.
