    any idea how i can make the other files from the tutorial please ?

    8) Now create oscam.user, oscam.server and oscam.config file and copy into same folder we created in step 1

    thanks

    Tim.

  • things goes little different,
    1. for what? (pc,dream....)
    2. why tried make cccam.cfg?
    3. or ,when you make cccam cfg for what you need oscam...
    simple- put line in cccam and you are in

  • Sorry, i am trying to setup oscam for windows,

    Im looking at a xbmc-npvr-oscam setup.

    step 8 is 8) Now create oscam.user, oscam.server and oscam.config now i have a oscam.server file.

    need the other two.

  • just right click, create new document and save as oscam.conf, repeat for oscam.user, and then place these in the same folder you have oscam.server

    have a look here - might give you an idea as to how an nline should look in oscam.server
    http://linuxsat-support.com/os…-oscam-server-config.html
    also in oscam.conf you can put this;

    Code
    [webif]
    httpport      = 8888
    httpuser      = user
    httppwd       = pass
    httprefresh   = 10
    httpallowed   = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255

    this will allow you to access your oscam server webinterface where you can set things up with a web based GUI - from a browser on the same machine

    127.0.0.1:8888 - then username is user and password is pass

    if it is from a different machine on your local network, then instead of 127.0.0.1 - use the local ip address of the server machine (the PC running oscam) - you might need to put exceptions in windows firewall for any ports that need to be accessed.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • hi everyone

    I am still having a problem setting up my oscam for windows, following the guides i have these details,

    my user details i was sent are

    This is your test line

    N: my.lazerlite.tv 51411 zztimhoug test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Host - my.lazerlite.tv Port - 51411 User - tim pass - tim

    my oscam.user is setup like this

    [account]
    user = tim
    pwd = tim
    group = 1
    cccmaxhops = 0
    cccreshare = 0

    my oscam.conf reads

    [webif]
    httpport = 51411
    httpuser = tim
    httppwd = tim
    httprefresh = 10
    httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255

    and my oscam.server reads

    [reader]
    label=51411
    enable=1
    protocol=newcamd
    key=02030405060708091011121314
    device=51411,tim
    user=tim
    password=01
    group=1
    inactivitytimeout=1
    reconnecttimeout=30
    lb_weight=100
    cccversion=2.1.2
    cccmaxhops=10
    cccwantemu=1
    ccckeepalive=1

    I have changed the name of my username and password to post here as i can edit them back easy enough.
    I would be very gratefull if anyone could correct / re write these so all i have to do is paste the correct stuff into the right text dowcument.

    here is the error/dos prompt i get when running Conf.exe

    Thanks in advance and i will be so pleased when i get this running.

    Thank you all in advance.

    What a pity you didn't read the rules buddy:

    <12> Anyone found to be running a Pay Server will be permanently banned.

    <13> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.

  • Test lines are how payservers get people signed up buddy, hopefully you have done enough reading on the forum to realise they are the road to nowhere.

  • For educatonal purposes? Well let me educate you...

    You have contacted a payserver to get a test line with a view to (at least in the eyes of the provider) subscribing to his service. We are a hobbyist forum, and have rules to protect the hobby such as the rule that states you will be ignored if you are the supporter of a payserver. You see no wrong in what you are doing. Just to explain, payservers are making money by running a server made up, as well as any cards they have, of people that are connected to them, not knowing that they are running a payserver. These parasites are multiplying, and because of that, providers are getting very concerned, and are slowly but surely adopting measures to prevent the option of sharing a card over the network. Those who do this as a hobby, and subscribe to a card, and share this over the internet with others who have different cards, so they can see what is out there on different satellites, will soon no longer be able to do this, because of payservers and their disciples.

    lazerlite - a verified payserver I see on a couple of forums....
