2 options either DL the latest image from here Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall and copy to USB and flash that! (Clean Fresh Install)
Or from you current build version - Menu > Setup > Software Update! - From there you will be able to backup your existing settings if needed and update
Remember to do a backup of what you have currently just in case!
Any problems Shout!

Third option.
make a settings backup in the backup manager, then open the image manager and download the latest image directly from there and restore it from within the image manager too, then when the receiver reboots you can either decide to setup from scratch or restore the settings backup made earlier.

The feeds are currently set to stable for the latest build which is 678 so try again maybe with a telnet session. or with the method i described in post three.

I forgot the forth option.
Telnet session with the following command.
init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6

So far there have been 4 different methods listed in this thread showing how to update the image, what exactly is the part at which your encountering a problem ??????.
-
Hi I do an upgrade exactly how you said to do and it upgrades and reeboots but when I go in the menu to see if it has upgraded it says the last upgrade was 13 of the 05 -2013 thats what I dont get its baffling me sorry cheers
-
if your currently on Build 668 then i'd recommend making a settings backup of your current setup via the backup manager, then using the image manager download the latest stable image and flash that directly from the image manager. When the receiver has flashed and rebooted you can restore the settings backup from within the FIW ( first install wizard ). The whole process should take around 10 minutes from start to finish.
I have included Two tutorials. one for making a image backup ( the process of making a settings backup is identical to a image backup but uses the backup manager rather that the image backup ), The other tutorial shows how to use the image manager to download a image and flash the receiver.
