  • hi all
    after trying to install cccam on Ubuntu which I believe ive done right
    ive given up ive managed to put the boxkey in the CCcam.cfg but the tutorials
    don't really go in depth of what to do after everything is installed.

    I have now installed Oscam and I can access the server on web page
    however Im stuck to where I don't know where to start with pairing the card
    to the server and making lines,

    I have followed the c line and f line tutorial but I have read somewhere about
    making a dns account or no ip account,

    could someone please enlighten me on what im doing wrong
    or where I need to start with all this

    help appreciated in advance
    thanks a million

  • Best look here read up and see how far you get , dns you will need setup to give clines ,if you are going to use oscam/cccam server you dont need a boxkey oscam will take care that for you , the card should not need paired to the server it should already be active in a box ,have a look here Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall and here Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall and here Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall

    this is what I seem to be getting
    is there any other info I need to put up to get a clue on where its giving me an error

  • ERROR opening device 002:002

    Go to reader/ scan usb , and it will tell you the device id of the card, it could be 001:006 or something, change it in reader/edit

  • log into your server with putty and run

    Code
    lsusb

    This will tell you your device ID, change your reader to that in oscam.server

    still getting the same thing

  • Run lsusb again, I remember problems with smargo getting new device ID after restart..
    Have you setup your smargo?

    follow this tut by Ten Below:
    http://linuxsat-support.com/li…l-smargo-smartreader.html

    Also m8, remove boxID (oscam does not need it) and all info in RED
    Edit info in green

    [reader]
    label = slyuk
    protocol = smartreader
    device = 002:003
    services = *** digital (uk)
    boxid = 16XXXXXX
    detect = cd
    mhz = 600
    cardmhz = 600

    caid = 0963
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1

    Finished should look like this:,

    [reader]
    label = slyuk
    protocol = smartreader
    device = 002:003
    services = *** digital (uk)
    caid = 0963
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1

    Device ID assumes that the info below is still correct print of:

    Code
    lsusb

  • OK m8, there is a really good chance that your card is now paired to your slybox and therefor you will not be able to use it for cardsharing. What model Slybox have you got and did you go through the card pairing setup?
