hi guys can i use a motor and a Diseqc switch at same time on my dm800se i have a 1.2m dish on moter but just got a 1.8m fixed dish for 7W is there any way to use the switch aswell?

i think the motor will work through port 1 of the diseqc switch However i'm not certain ?

I assume you mean a Diseqc motor if so then yes it will work but you have to place the switch after the motor itself, so you would have a short Fly lead going from the LNB on the motorised dish into Input A and then from Fixed Dish into Input B then short fly lead from switch receiver output into Diseqc motor LNB input and job done.

The motor's LNB can be on any port on the switch, just make sure that the diseqc commands match. Also using LNB 1 (can be any) in the config for all motorised satellites means fewer button pushes when configuring.
