lost 9 entitlements today now channels not clearing help please!

did your card no update in time, how are you updating it?

Looks like you may have missed the EMM. Can't see it being the new pairing that has affected your card as the remaining entitlements only have a couple of weeks left (would have thought they would have updated if hit with new pairing)

But you can never be sure.

How do you update your card?

Were all your dates ok before today or due to run out ?and your bill is paid i assume not missed ?

We will probably require a look at your configs to determine how you are updating entitlements on your card.

Did the boxnation tier not appear either.

heres an example oscam.server and oscam.user that i use. never fails to update my cards....
yours should be something like this................

edited reader. as i said, this is an example. it works for me. and i dont claim it will work for everyone..... there is also a working oscam configs section that will give you a more detailed idea.
@ Mee®kat, i am just trying to give him an indication of what his should like like. i have not instructed him to change his settings exactly like mine. i am still pretty new to this hobby, your post would have been much more helpful if it wasn't so condescending.

Great to see examples posted tho because you never know my luck updating 0961/0963 cards since 2005 outwith official stbs could one day run out!!!well it will for all of us on 0963 cards thats for sure...

You also never stated what cam/version you are using to update your card/or your version of oscam?/box?pc? Also you never answered a question regarding the boxnation tier/did that go onto your card? or will we see another example of tiers?

I also dont think its hw pairing as sly need your receiver id and also your card will still need the tiers hw paired or not to clear in an official anyway! but your allowing emms in you should not be if your example is what you use in your reader?

On another note you should be paying close attention to your cards entitlements (especially 0963) instead of allowing them to run out and then come online and post examples...dont you think..

Actually m8, omitting card speed is the same as setting Default 357 Mhz
auprovid as far as I am aware is only relevant if you have a card from more than one provider
the emmcache settings (1,3,2) are good for PC Server

But you are Correct, he should also add:

I think you have mistaken brendanj9554 for the original poster, otherwise this is way out of line m8, he was just trying to point daviddawn in the right direction..

Agree 100%, I cant understand why people are posting these problems 2 days after the entitlements were allowed to run out.. Especially the way things are at the moment.. You should be watching over your sly card like a new born baby if you are to have any chance of squeezing the last few weeks/months of CS out of 0963...

Before i go tho omnikeys run at 5mhz so the speed should be set at that..but no higher!

1,3,2 is wrong for nds cards whether its in a pc or box as it tries to write the emm too many times thus creating skipped or no/late emms!

Au provider should be set specifically per caid/card on any number of cards on the server..i can receive at least 2 unique emms(written) per day on 0963 cards if i so wished.

I an not sure if this setting would make any difference as they will run at 5Mhz no matter what and I like to keep my reader settings as free of unnecessary settings as possible (easier to troubleshoot problems)

Very interesting, What emm cache settings would you recommend for 0963 m8?
I have been using 1,3,2 myself from the very start so I'm interested in anything that might improve on my setup.
I had noticed that on the e2 config ipks the emm cache settings were different, I put this down different card reader or hardware.
What settings work best for you?

So it only needs emm-u(send to a unique card) to update entitlements but to update a card revision or internal keys they use emm-g(all cards) and emm-s(group of 256 cards).

Bren your setup is 100% tried, tested and working for as long as any. I am just curious if there is a more efficient setup.
Oscam is packed to the nines with tweaks and settings but until i see some real world improvements, I am not to keen to implement them.
When Mee®kat is back online, he will be able to clarify the benefits of some of his suggestions..

A little more on the emmcache settings from OSCam wiki..

emmcache = <usecache>,<rewrite>,<logging>




* <usecache> 0 = # disabled EMM caching  (default)
* <usecache> 1 = # enabled EMM caching




* <rewrite>  n = # determines how often one and the same EMM is written. only if <usecache> = 1




* <logging>  0 = # EMM logging disabled
* <logging>  1 = # logging EMM errors
* <logging>  2 = # logging written EMMs
* <logging>  4 = # logging skipped EMMs
* <logging>  8 = # logging blocked EMMs
* <logging>  16 = # logging audisabled EMMs

From this chart, it does look like: emmcache = 1,1,2 would be more efficent, maybe someone could clarify this?

emmcache = 1,1,2

The first 1 will be always on if you want emm's so this will be constant
The second 1 determiness the EMM rewrite. (1 here might only give you one shot at writing the emm so that might have its downside too)
The third 2 is purely for logging so not too relevant to emm's written..

From my understanding of emmcache now, the only figure here that can optimize emm's written to the card would be The second <rewrite> field 1
So I think now the question might be simplified to why was the 3 used in the first place? Was the 3 a failsafe for missed EMMS or EMM errors?
