Im guessing your not watching from your own local card?
Reason is i have not read about this from any other.

  • Well its not the end..Not yet

there was a complete blackout of the italia package a couple of years ago but the oscam devs had it back working in only 2 weeks but the truth is nobody knows what will happen next.

Yes i remember that one well although if i remember correctly it was in 2009/2010 when italia made nano byte changes to caids 0919/093b cards and the first attack took a few weeks to fix and a second change a month or so later seen it sorted within a couple of days....after that all CW changes stopped with italia//possibly at that time they gave up on that particular attack method believing it was fruitless as italian users would have logged the new control word anyway and send it to emu developers.

From what i have been reading regarding sly italy and i have not read much on the subject is that people using these cards are seeing (not found) in their log which kinda tells us this is not some standard cw change but a new pairing method that will take some working out especially when users are having problems with official receivers without calling the provider in question to recieve the channels again.

I am actually past caring what happens with the cs scene now tbh because over the past 6 months or so i have been reading posts from members who by the looks of it cant even tie their own shoelaces and are running servers so it really is no bloody wonder providers are fighting back.I also read that one member placed his nagra 3 card into a card programmer and started pressing buttons with software not even designed for his card which in turn will have damaged it and of course will alert the provider its been tampered with when the card goes back online..Just crazy!

I think all the easy to do cards...the copy and paste...ctrl.c ctrl.v copy and paste configs/backup images ready to go plug and play..convert 10 digit numbers in calculator packages will all soon be a problem.

In the meantime i think i will stick to an encryption that the majority of the monkeys cant exploit and scrap the rest.

  • I remember a few years ago there was a story about some guys who completely hacked sly, no CS or anything just a complete decrypt of the channels on a sly box. The story went that sly panicked and paid them off with a promise never to release how to do it.

Not sure how true that is but its what I heard.

I heard the same story that they paid them and employed them as well.

  • In my country, several people who have their own servers are almost sure that this issue will be solved in few weeks. even vhannibal has this opinion. So do you people really think that this is the end or it should be temporary? thanks

  • Seen on a few sites that Ive been reading that measures for Foxtel in Australia have been cracked and its been busted wide open again.

Not sure how true this is but if it is then it surely is fantastic news, just hope we dont have to wait 3 years for a fix!

I've not seen any reports of this on any reputable forums, can you pm me links so I can have a look please.

Well its nothing specfic, just chat in a few forums.

Looking a little closer it looks like its gone from the average user and into the hands of cardsharing. Again not sure how much truth is in it.

    Ive sent a PM.

No chance that they have disassembled nds hw pairing down under but they have been trying for a couple of years and i think the majority of aussies have now given up.

I think whatever you have read is referring to ird€to not nds.

Certian foxtel channels opened via cs and were running on either an original Ird€to card or some other emulator card similar to dragon cards..aurora card possibly but its closed now anyway.

  • This was posted on another forum so if true hopefully just a codec type issue due to a new encoding method

A Little news on whats happening for those who are yet to of seen it

Italian company NTT DATA has developed a solution, NRT Encoding, for *** Italy that by applying processes to the compression of linear channels broadcast via satellite can reduce bandwidth consumption by up to 40% whilst retaining the same quality.
Since bandwidth consumption is fundamental to the overall cost of a channel, it is clear that such a solution is potentially able to bring major savings for a broadcaster which has nearly two hundred satellite channels, such as *** Italy.

NTT DATA provides professional value, from consulting to systems development to outsourcing, combining global approach and local attention with a long-term commitment to its customers. *** Italy, for its part, is an Italian pay TV operator 100% controlled by News Corporation.
Riccardo Ferrari, senior manager, NTT DATA in Italy says: “The debut of NRT Encoding – with the first channel on the *** platform transmitted thanks to new technology – was achieved by June and by December 2013, the solution will be extended to other channels.

“We have been partners of *** Italy for several years and, just based on the experience made in the development of VoD encoding used to offer *** On Demand on all screens (PCs, smartphones, tablets and TV), came the idea of exploiting the latest encoding techniques to process an offline linear signal.”
The basic idea is very simple: in fact, NTT Data had in the past developed and provided to *** Video On Demand a system of encoding/transcoding offline input files supplied on different formats, generating an encoded version in various forms for various devices.

The system core is the same, based on AVC H264, with two different codes that share a large part of the initial encoding process, then depending on the device that requests them there are slight differences in the end-result.

This product encoding on-demand for tits services has proved extremely effective for ***, and after selecting it in the face of competition from some other major names, *** asked NTT Data to develop a different coding system that could also be used in linear systems.

Note that the file transmission for non-linear VOD has a physical beginning and an end well-defined, it is captured in full batch mode, and processed offline. The new encoding solution, meanwhile, us able to handle a continuous channel entry in linear mode and create an encoded version in output.
The linear flow input is segmented into small segments, each encoded in single mode, while a final component of the software makes a ‘merge’ of these segments in the correct way, then manages the output signal.
The process causes an important delay in the process of linear encoding from the moment the incoming stream arrives to that in when it is streamed in output. This delay is configurable, however, and preset by the broadcaster so they can establish a near real time of 5 to 10 minutes, or as required, and so everything is manageable in a concrete way by the playout systems.

The basis of this system of linear encoding by NTT Data uses very advanced techniques for encoding in H264, which also integrates open source libraries mixed with advanced techniques of adaptive encoding, rather than psycho-visual techniques.

The ‘core’ of the system of encoding works in terms of multi-step process even with very small segments. In fact, with a first passage are identified the complexity of the file and a number of useful features to better describe it, while the second coding operates on the basis of the data that the first passage has provided. The result is that you can manage a trade-off between the quality and the size of the stream. The above-mentioned basic segment is a configurable value; nell’NRT for *** has been set to 10/15 seconds so at the end of the process, the transmission of a full HD *** channel is accompanied by a bandwidth saving of as much as 40%.

  • Got this email from Buyflood Affiliate Network yestherday,

    Hi there,

As you may have noticed recently a lot of CS merchants have unfortunately closed down.
So many in fact we took the opportunity to clean out of database and optimize the our website.

This morning we paid everyone what was outstanding.
We also inform you we now only have 3 merchants who have confirmed they wish to continue working with out affiliate network. So, we recommend you remove all banners you have running of merchants no longer with our network and replace them with the 3 merchants who will continue paying out.

We would like to thank you for continuing with our network.

    Thanks
    David

  • Just a heads up for anyone with an Irish card that is still freezing, update now to oscam 9036 or newer and it will sort it.

Last night I compiled OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r9038 and have been running since and confirm it's working 100%
