CCCam server is down. Please try again later !

  • spose there is a small chance that the reader might be fooked. I have used it tho when I was doing cable used to read and write cards with it no probs. I could bang it on my pc and test it as I have a few cards I could test it with.

  • just had another thought ten below, it wouldn't be anything to do with the fact that I am not directly into a serial port on the server with the pheonix would it? I am using a serial to usb cable. does that affect the config lines as I just copied those from the tut as I notice the smagrgo has usb in its config

I was thinking the same mate, which one are you using, if you can test it that will be grand so we can rule that out.

Ok that sounds more like it, i have never used one of these serial to usb adaptors but have saw plenty having probs getting them running.

  • OK I am using a infinity usb by wb electronics I have tested it on my pc and its ok. It maybe the serial to usb cable but I have to admit my server sees the pheonix progger when I do Lsusb so its reporting in to linux just wondering if it needs to be different in the config file as its over one of these cables

  • I've read through your msg's and I never noticed anyone meantioning Nftytool from WB Electronics.

you need to download from wb website and setup.
Before starting oscam u need to run one of these commands make the reader go into phoenix mode so it can read the card :-
    /nftytool -p phoenix -- -p phoenix -f 3.58 -e
    *For 3.58MHz

    ./nftytool -p phoenix -- -p phoenix -f 3.68 -e
    *For 3.68MHz

    ./nftytool -p phoenix -- -p phoenix -f 6.00 -e
    *For 6.00MHz

I have posted all three lines as it depends on what card your trying to use.

    On my system i use 3.58 as I'm using S*y U*.

    hope this helps.
If you need any further help post here and I will do the best I can to help. If needs require I will make a server up and make a walk through for you.

  • Thanks the cableguy. I have already downloaded and installed the nftytool from wb electronics and havs set 3.58 line as I am sly as well so all that runs fine . my sever sees the wb electronics infinity reader fine but I cant get it to see the card.

  • OK guys recap as to what I did
Have an Acer revo with no OS so downloaded the latest Debian image.

1.. installed it using ten belows tut Debian Linux server with CCcam auto install script all went ok (I believe) ended up with cccam 2.1.4

2.. updated the cccam to 2.2.1 using how to update debian/ubuntu to cccam 2.2.0 tut all went ok system shows now 2.2.1

3.. followed master G Tutorial: How to install Infinity USB programmer on a Debian with CCcam all went ok

Right the unknowns are that I am using aHL340 USB to serial cable. My LSusb looks like this

    Bus 002 Device 003: ID 1ea7:0002
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 104f:0001 WB Electronics Infinity Phoenix
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
    root@steve67474:~#

My cofig file looks like this...

    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/ttyS0 3570000
    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyS0

    BOXKEY : dev/usb/ttyS0 15 B6 43 xx
