Hi Guys
I've got myself into a bit of a 'pickle'.
I paid a guy with a payserver ?160 quid for a 12 month c-line.
A friend took a look at the 'C-line' and suggested that I share the 'c-line' on to other boxes in my home to make it worthwhile.
Can this be done?
I'm new to all this, so pardon my ignorance.
Can I share a C-Line that I have Purchased?

If you put the same CLine on 2 boxes on the same internet connect (therefor same IP address) I dont see why they wouldn't work?

They can still tell from mac address

Im glad i dont share with you..............oh wait a minute lol
Only joking mate, the person running the server will be able to see a double connection looking at cccam info. -
Lol. Only 1 box here mate.
I just thought the way it works it wouldn't be detectable at the same IP, but if it shows 2 connections up, then your pretty screwed, you'd need reshare to use another box. -
Thinking about this, when I eventually get a second box and reshare my server to the second box, am I right in thinking hop3's on the second box would perform just as well as hop2's on the first box?
As they're on the same network and no real traffic between them. -

Yes this is correct mate. -

If you try to use the same cline on two boxes on the same lan one will kick the other off line (try it, it happened to me accidently). You can only connect with one or the other. -
so i reckon the idea would be to create another host for your second box then create a C from box 1 to box 2.
I think the limit for hosts on the same IP is 5 with dyndns,,check it out..

You wouldn't need your dyndns address on box 2. #in the CLine you'd put your internal IP address like this:
C: 192.168.1.4 12000 box2 box2passUnless you get shares for both boxes being different clines for each, but if you've got enough reshares, just use them as above.

They can still tell from mac address
they wont see the mac address as thats local to the LAN segment, they will see concurrent connections with different source ports. -
I think this is called digging up an old grave. In this length of time, the corpse would have turned to dust!:feel_good:
