i had the problems aswell just sticking on bbc midlands with no picture if you do a rescan then download the bouquets from the menu it all goes good,
Cheers it boots always to bbc 1 west midlands with the openpli splash
When you make a backup like this it will always boot to a channel so i figured one from fta section was best. You can set your own startup channel in the menu.
Is there anything in this image that could let people in to your box to steal your c lines? because I have had this happen to me today and I dont share with anyone over the internet so there is no way someone could get into my server and this is the only way I can think it has happend??

Seriously though, If you dont share with anyone you have nothing to worry about, if you do share remember all passwords & ports are default so you should change box & cfg passwords to your own. This is open pli as it comes with oscam,cccam 2,13 tps skin, UK boquets & epg importer added & mapped. I made & uploaded it to help others not for my own benefit.

steal clines??? somebody apart from yourself would have to know your info ; host ,IP , otherwise not possible..

so the clines you mention would be internal clients/servers in the rest of the house??
question . ¿ can you still access your .cfg?? if so ,,,¿what else is missing/altered from your cfg ??the reason being that sometimes ,the .cfg goes A.W.O.L. meaning that DCC doesnt connect right therefore you can´t see it..

They totally changed my CCcam.cfg and put in 3 c lines and one f line that says f:END CONFIG to connect me to their server with hundreds of cards on which didn't even clear my channels, lucky I always backup my configs.
I do connect to servers over the internet but with people I know locally.

the only way to access a server from outside is if it is connected the internet but you say its not ¿¿?? very strange indeed
if they added 3 clines ,then they are serving your server(you would be their client)!!!!
its only if they added Flines would they be viewing through your server!!

If you have Debug enabled in your CCcam.cfg look in /var/log/messages/ to see the ip address of who was trying to connect to your server, then pass on the info to us so we can ban the feckers.

¿have you read my link above?? read it carefully and check as theres no logical explanation that somebody would give you access to other servers..
the typical hack is that they "plant" a couple of Flines to feed from your server/card..
My advice would be copy/save the "friends clines" and completely reflash the box with a clean image,change to a new host and passwords,close all ports and take all the usuall necessary steps as you have not just put your own server at risk but your "friends"....

If you flashed this and got gemini then you have gone wrong somewhere mate, The download is exactly what it says it is.

not sure what happened witht his image, flashed it on a few boxs, worked for a day or two (sometimes hour or two) then will onlyclear premium channels, all free to air wont clear???? this has happened on a few different boxs, in different locations as well. flashing back works for a while, then it goes again.

The startup script appears to not work for some, so for this reason i made another backup.
Do they come back soon after ?

Ten I appreciate the download which is excellent, one small problem it wont read my card. I have tried the card in 2 separate DM500 clones no joy any thoughts.
